Senior Product Owner - Tracking & Analytics - Storefront (all genders)

Lead expansion of e‑commerce tracking and build an analytics function for a multi‑tenant SaaS storefront. Define KPIs, set measurement infrastructure, translate analytics into product features, evaluate platform performance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive data‑driven product decisions.
Job Description
- Lead the strategic expansion of e-commerce tracking within our high-traffic multi-tenant SaaS storefront platform
- Build a brand new analytical function from scratch, setting up the measurement infrastructure and foundation for the platform
- Define scalable KPIs and performance metrics that systematically drive product development for all tenants and enterprise retail customers
- Translate data and platform performance analytics into actionable product features, user-friendly requirements, and longterm growth strategies
- Evaluate platform performance against retail and e-commerce industry standards to keep our enterprise products state-of-the-art
- Cooperate closely with three skilled cross-functional product teams (Product, Engineering, QA, and Designers) to shape data-oriented features
- Act as the strategic "translator" between technical engineering teams and commercial business stakeholders
- 6+ years of professional experience in an e-commerce environment, coming along with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- A very strong, MVP-focused approach centered on analytics, complex KPIs, and platform performance measurement
- Extensive experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami) and Spreadsheets/BI tools like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (PowerBI is a plus)
- Passionate about using state-of-the-art AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, or equivalent) and highly motivated to integrate them into your daily development workflows
- Ability to translate fluently between commercial business stakeholders and cross functional and English speaking engineering teams
- Analytical mindset with a high attention to data precision, actively keeping the quality and integrity of our measurement logic in check
Nice to Have
- German language skills
- Experience on the SaaS/platform side of e-commerce (vs. retailer side)
- Background in specific retail verticals (fashion, beauty, lifestyle)
- Prior involvement in product development or feature spec writing
