Job Description

The Senior Program Manager will support the Senior Director of Applications and Tenancy Administration in advancing key priorities related to housing applications and tenancy operations, such as transfers and relocations. This role provides strategic, analytical, and operational support to improve performance, ensure compliance, and enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead coordinator for ATAD on resident relocations for programs including the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust and NYCHA’s Comprehensive Modernization and other unplanned major projects.
- Coordinate the matching and relocation of residents to new units with attention to any services they may require for purposes of reasonable accommodation or emergency transfers.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that ATAD’s public facing information for all programmatic areas is accurate and easily available.
- Coordinate and provide technical assistance related to ATAD’s systems for residents, Property Management, IT, and other departments, in the processing of relocations related to emergencies or special programs.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders including the Law Department, the COO’s Office, RRSD, Capital Projects, and Intergovernmental Relations, and provide related reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain partnerships with local CBO’s related to ATAD’s policies and procedures.
- Assist in identifying problem areas and recommending ways to improve and streamlining process flows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
