About DataMap

DataMap.ai is an AI-first technology consulting and solutions company focused on enterprise systems and automation. We build applications, implement ERP platforms, and provide managed services and production support at scale. Our clients include Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth companies such as Google. They rely on us to modernize operations and automate workflows in ways that produce measurable business value.

DataMap is growing fast. We value innovation and collaboration, we work with urgency, and we reward speed, precision, and accountability. Teams here have the authority to solve complex enterprise problems and deliver results.

Why Join DataMap

At DataMap, projects run the way we expect every project to run in five years, with AI copilots drafting plans, surfacing risks, and writing first-draft status reports. At this level you set up that workflow for the teams you lead and refine the methods your programs run on. When the results show an improvement works, you bring it to the Director of Project Management for practice-wide adoption.

For Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth companies, you'll deliver AI and automation programs built on DataMap's proprietary products (Positron, RoboApprover, Itemova EDI SaaS) and on enterprise platforms like Coupa, D365, NetSuite, SAP, and Boomi, and you'll grow those accounts as you deliver. You also lead partner, internal, and operations programs alongside client work.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you lead programs and multiple concurrent projects, including some of DataMap's most visible engagements. Project management at DataMap owns the management of all of our work, which covers everything: customer work, partner work, partnership growth, internal projects, and operations projects. Across your programs, that includes partner-platform implementations for enterprise clients, development of the products and customer portals we build and sell, and the partnership-growth, internal, and operations programs that make DataMap itself run and grow. DataMap project managers manage the work, grow the accounts they serve, and lead their teams toward business results; at this level you expand those practices to program and account scale. You are accountable for program outcomes and commercial health (SOWs, change orders, margin, and forecasting), and you build trusted-advisor relationships with executive sponsors.

You lead others inside the PMO (project managers and coordinators) and outside it (functional and technical consultants, developers, QA/test, and client and vendor teams). You drive change across your programs and into the wider delivery organization in process, structure, visibility, communications, and change management. You plan how your programs reach the goals set with delivery leadership, keep leadership informed, and escalate when you need to.

You will use AI tools every day, run the AI delivery workflows of the teams you lead, measure their gains, and help evolve DataMap's AI-first delivery methodology.

Your Growth Path

Project management at DataMap has a defined five-level ladder that runs from delivery support to leading the practice: Project Coordinator, Senior Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Director of Project Management. We post every level and promote from within, and moving up depends on performance and on the needs of the business. Beyond the Director level, the path continues into executive leadership, such as DataMap's Vice President, Operations & Delivery.

This is the senior delivery seat: you are accountable for every type of work in your programs and for their outcomes, margin, and account growth, within goals set with delivery leadership, and you lead people inside and outside the PMO. Strong Senior Project Managers can grow into Director of Project Management, where they lead the practice that owns the management of all of DataMap's work, are accountable for portfolio health, PMO standards, and commercial results, and drive change in process, structure, visibility, communications, and change management across the organization. You help build a practice that is still growing, and you work with executives on the client side and inside DataMap.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery leadership

  • Lead programs of every type end to end, including customer, partner, partnership-growth, internal, and operations work, and be accountable for delivering them on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Manage the integrated master schedule, critical path, and dependencies, and coordinate multiple workstreams across DataMap teams, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Set program milestones, governance, and operating cadence, run steering committees with executive sponsors, and produce the executive-ready materials behind them: integrated plans, status reporting, and steering committee decks.
  • Be the escalation point for your programs: resolve cross-project risks and issues, exercise sound judgment on program decisions and escalate appropriately, and share lessons learned across projects to prevent duplicated effort.

Business development and account growth

  • Go after business development at program and account scale: identify leads for new software and service sales, draft the orders, and get customer signatures, whether for DataMap's own products (Positron, RoboApprover, Itemova EDI SaaS), partner platforms, or follow-on services.
  • Manage program financials and staffing: SOWs, forecasts, actuals, margin, revenue forecasting, commercial change control, and staffing plans for current and upcoming skill needs.
  • Partner with Sales and pre-sales on scoping, estimates, and operationally achievable commitments for new pursuits.
  • Build executive-level client relationships, grow your accounts over the long term, and coach the project managers you lead to find expansion work, draft the orders (order forms, change orders, and SOW amendments), and get them signed on their own projects.

Leading others and driving change

  • Lead others inside and outside the PMO. Inside it, give direction to the project managers and coordinators on your programs, unblock them, give feedback, and develop their skills. Outside it, lead the functional and technical consultants, developers, QA/test, and client and vendor teams on your programs.
  • Coach other leaders to proactively engage team members, ask what they're working on, suggest course corrections, and drive business outcomes, and lead your own teams the same way.
  • Drive change across your programs and into the wider delivery organization in process, structure, visibility, communications, and change management, and share what works with other program teams.
  • Drive change management on your programs: secure sponsor and stakeholder support, and build readiness and adoption milestones into the program plan so the client and DataMap teams that receive new platforms, products, and processes adopt them.

AI-first delivery

  • Set up the AI workflows your teams use: prompt libraries, workflow templates, automated status and RAID cadences, and AI-assisted business development that surfaces leads and drafts orders for your review.
  • Deliver AI and automation programs end to end, including enterprise client rollouts of Positron and RoboApprover and the development programs behind the products and portals themselves.
  • Pilot delivery improvements and AI-enabled governance on your programs, measure the gains in cycle time, quality, and margin, and bring the proven ones to the Director of Project Management for practice-wide adoption.
Qualifications
  • 6 to 10 years of project delivery experience, including leading and developing other project managers or coordinators and leading people outside your direct line, such as consultants, developers, QA/test, vendors, or client teams.
  • Sound judgment as a program leader: given a goal, you build the plan and the team, deliver the result, and know when leadership needs to hear about something.
  • A track record of growing accounts through delivery: spotting the opportunity on your own projects, drafting the order, and getting it signed.
  • A record of leading change in process, structure, visibility, and communications across teams beyond your own projects, with working knowledge of a structured change management approach.
  • A habit of engaging team members directly, course-correcting early, and coaching other leaders to do the same.
  • Experience embedding AI tools in a team's delivery workflow and measuring the gains in cycle time, quality, or margin.
  • Proven ability to manage executive-level client relationships, with commercial accountability for SOWs, change orders, margin, and forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience (PMI-ACP or SAFe a plus).
  • SaaS and ERP implementations (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce); Source-to-Pay or procurement depth and Coupa certifications a plus.
  • Consulting or professional services delivery background, including account management or expansion work.
  • Experience managing software product development with Agile/Scrum: sprint planning, backlog management, and release delivery.
  • Familiarity with established change models such as Lewin's change model and Kotter's 8 steps; Prosci's ADKAR model, the Bridges Transition Model, or the McKinsey 7-S Framework a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM or agentic tooling beyond chat assistants.
Benefits & Perks
  • Total compensation of base salary plus bonus.
  • Unlimited vacation and a flexible work environment.
  • Free catered lunch on Fridays at headquarters.
  • On-site gym at headquarters.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Health insurance with generous employer contribution.
  • Dental, life, and disability insurance.
  • Hands-on mentorship and career development opportunities.
Why Apply?
  • Build your career in enterprise technology consulting.
  • Run programs on AI copilots and major financial and supply chain systems, and deliver AI programs for enterprise clients.
  • Work at a company that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

If you're experienced and have strong delivery instincts, apply even if you don't meet every requirement.
