Job Title: Senior Project Manager 
Location: Bronx, NY

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in Project Management experience with NYC agencies (DOT & DDC)

Overview: Triumph Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to uphold our reputation as an innovative leader in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive production experience and expertise in developing and overseeing comprehensive work plans. This role requires regular preparation and presentation of project updates to management, ensuring alignment with our innovation goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage the entire construction process for specific projects, from obtaining permits to finalizing punch lists.

·         Ensure smooth project execution, delivering exceptional results while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and safety.

·         Oversee and coordinate all aspects of heavy civil construction contracts, including revenue, safety, risk management, scheduling, and compliance with contract drawings and specifications.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders) to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.

·         Conduct project meetings to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues among team members.

·         Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

·         Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

·         Monitor construction progress, conduct regular site visits, and provide accurate reports on project status, issues, and recommended actions.

·         Maintain project files, logs (including payment, permits, RFIs, change order submittals, POs, etc.), and drawings.

·         Prepare cost-to-complete reports, labor reports, cost analyses, and budgets.

·         Monitor field construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

·         Record work quantities performed by subcontractors and reconciled these quantities with the subcontractor and owner's representative.

·         Stay updated with industry trends, construction methodologies, and regulations to contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

·         Adapt to changing job responsibilities to align with project and organizational needs.

Qualifications:

·         Proficient in HCSS and Excel software.

·         Expertise in P6 or Microsoft Project.

·         Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Excellent presentation skills.

·         Minimum of ten years of experience as a project manager.

·         Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

·         Must have experience working with NYC agencies such as New York City Department of Design & Construction; New York City Economic Development Corp.; New York City Department of Transportation

Must-Have Qualifications:

·         Experience working with NYC agencies, particularly the New York City Department of Design & Construction; New York City Economic Development Corp.; New York City Department of Transportation

·         Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications are mandatory.

·         Minimum of ten years of experience as a project manager.
