Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Recruiting Manager / Recruiting Lead to build and scale the recruiting function for a rapidly growing technology company. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this individual will own full-cycle recruiting across Engineering, AI, Product, Sales, and Operations while establishing the processes, hiring standards, and recruiting infrastructure required to support significant organizational growth.

This role is ideal for a startup recruiter who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building recruiting operations from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing, and onboarding activities.

  • Recruit across Engineering, AI, Product, Sales, GTM, and Operations functions.

  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and networking.

  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

  • Drive hiring outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on talent quality.

Hiring Strategy & Talent Calibration

  • Partner with executive leadership to define hiring standards and evaluation criteria.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to align recruiting efforts with business goals.

  • Utilize market intelligence, compensation data, and talent insights to support hiring decisions.

  • Ensure consistency and quality across all recruiting processes.

Recruiting Infrastructure & Scale

  • Build recruiting processes, workflows, and best practices to support organizational growth.

  • Implement recruiting tools, dashboards, reporting, and operational frameworks.

  • Develop scalable hiring methodologies and documentation.

  • Establish recruiting metrics and reporting processes to drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with leadership and department heads across multiple business functions.

  • Provide guidance on talent acquisition strategies and workforce planning.

  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a high-growth startup environment.

  • Strong experience recruiting technical talent, including Engineering and AI professionals.

  • Proven success hiring across multiple functions such as Engineering, AI, Product, Sales, GTM, and Operations.

  • Experience building recruiting processes, frameworks, and infrastructure from scratch.

  • Demonstrated ability to personally source, screen, and close candidates.

  • Comfortable operating as a sole recruiter and owning the entire recruiting lifecycle.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to work onsite in New York City or Austin, TX.

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive partnership skills.

  • Experience supporting rapid organizational growth and scaling hiring operations.

Candidate Disqualifiers

  • Requires current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Remote-only candidates.

  • Recruiting leaders who primarily manage teams but do not perform hands-on recruiting.

  • Recruiters with only agency or large-enterprise recruiting experience and no startup background.

  • High-volume recruiters without demonstrated focus on hiring quality.

  • Recruiters with experience limited to a single functional area (e.g., only Sales recruiting).
