Job Overview:

A Salesforce Core Developer specialized in Data Cloud is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that unify, transform, and activate customer data across Salesforce platforms. The role focuses on leveraging Data Cloud’s data models, harmonization capabilities, and activation tools to enable real-time insights, personalization, and cross-cloud integrations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Data Cloud data models, ingestion pipelines, identity resolution rules, and data transformations.
  • Build and optimize data streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), and data mapping to support unified customer profiles.
  • Develop integrations between Data Cloud and Sales, Service, Marketing, and external systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Implement segmentation, activation, and calculated insights to support personalization and analytics use cases.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance with best practices in security and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot data ingestion issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end data solutions.
  • Support deployment, document solutions, and maintain high-quality, scalable data architecture within Salesforce.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with hands-on experience in Data Cloud / CDP.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP): data ingestion, data mapping, harmonization, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Core (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, Triggers).
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and data connectors (MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, external systems).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data transformation best practices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce platform architecture, sharing/security models, and governance.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud Admin tools (data streams, data model objects, insights).
