At NewGen, we’re a global social creative and creator agency made up of over 100 talented people worldwide, with offices in London (UK), Manchester (UK), and New York (USA). We partner with leading brands to shape culture, tell stories that matter, and harness the power of social first creative and creators to drive meaningful impact. As a fast-growing agency with a collaborative, ambitious spirit, we bring together data, strategy, creativity, and innovation to deliver work that actually cuts through, connects and creates conversation.

Founded by our 30-under-30 co-founders, NewGen is an independent agency working with some of the world’s biggest brands. Privately owned and built to challenge the big networks and stale-traditional agencies, we move fast, live social, and know that our fresh ideas can compete with anyone. In fact, we know it’s the only way to deliver work consumers care about.

Our work is trusted by some of the world’s biggest brands, including Pepsi, Samsung, Amazon, SEGA, and CashApp. Just as importantly, we’re the agency of choice for leading creators shaping culture today — from KSI and Amelia Dimoldenberg to PewDiePie. When the people driving conversations and influencing audiences trust us, it’s no surprise that the world’s most ambitious brands do too.

Want to join the team, here are our non-negotiables.

  • Energy – Get involved, be heard, and contribute. This isn’t the place for an easy ride — we want people who bring energy and ideas.
  • Quality – Quality comes first. If it doesn’t feel right, speak up. Everything we create should push boundaries and break new ground.
  • Collaboration – We win as a team. No egos, no judgment — just support, collaboration, and collective success.

  • Creativity – We thrive on fresh thinking. New ideas and bold approaches are what keep us moving forward.
  • Partnership – Be a great partner to our clients. Everything we do should deliver on their objectives and create a positive, collaborative experience. This is paramount.

What’s it like in the New York office?

Life in our New York office is all about start-up energy with the backing of a global agency. Based in the heart of Flatiron, we’re a close-knit team building something special and looking for people who want to grow with us. We value curiosity and a deep understanding of the social landscape, and we’re excited by people who want to help shape our journey. We work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of three days a week in the office to keep collaboration and creativity at the core of what we do.

The Role

We’re looking for a bold Senior
Social-First Creative who lives and breathes culture, platforms, and ideas built to spark conversation. You’ll bring equal parts strategic vision and hands-on creativity — someone who thrives in fast-moving, always-on environments and knows how to translate insight into scroll-stopping work.

You’ll guide and inspire your team to deliver campaigns that are born for social, balancing creative brilliance with commercial awareness. From shaping TikTok-first ideas to crafting platform-native storytelling, you’ll know how to connect brands with communities in ways that drive both engagement and growth.

Above all, you’ll be a driving force in helping NewGen punch above its weight, challenging the big networks by delivering social-first work that’s as effective as it is unmissable.

As a Senior Social Creative at NewGen, you will:

  • Drive excellence in the work – Set the creative standard for social-first ideas, pushing the team to deliver bold, innovative campaigns that break through the noise. You’ll inspire a culture of craft, experimentation, and cultural fluency that ensures every output is best-in-class.
  • Drive client success – Be one of the senior voices clients turn to when navigating the ever-changing world of social. You’ll build strong, long-term relationships, showing brands how to stay relevant, unlock communities, and achieve real business results through platform-native creativity.
  • Create culture-shaping work – Focus on delivering ideas that move beyond campaigns to become part of culture — sparking conversation, inspiring participation, and driving meaningful brand impact. You’ll balance creative ambition with cultural resonance to ensure the work lives where audiences already are.
  • Bring platform and culture expertise – Stay on the pulse of social platforms, trends, and behaviors, using that insight to shape work that feels native, fresh, and impactful. You’ll know how to turn emerging formats and cultural shifts into opportunities for brands to connect authentically.
  • Champion collaboration – Partner closely with internal teams across creative, strategy, and production to make sure every idea is executed seamlessly. You’ll connect the dots between culture, craft, and client goals to deliver a consistently excellent experience.
  • Shape the future of the agency – Play a pivotal role in NewGen’s mission to challenge the big networks by bringing entrepreneurial energy, platform fluency, and disruptive thinking. You’ll help define what a truly social-first creative agency looks like.

This mindset allows us to create campaigns that don’t just reach audiences, but actively engage and inspire them.

It’s ok to be ‘chronically online’.

  • 8+ years experience delivering awarded creative for social-first brands
