The Senior Social Media Strategist will help shape and execute high-quality enterprise content that supports reputational priorities, integrated campaigns, executive visibility, and measurable engagement.
In a typical day, this role may translate business priorities into social storytelling, manage content requests and approvals, publish across enterprise channels, partner with internal communications and creative teams, review performance insights, and identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness. The Senior Social Media Strategist executes enterprise social and owned content strategies that strengthen Humana’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with key audiences. This role translates enterprise narratives, business priorities, and campaign objectives into clear, audience-relevant content across social and video channels. The strategist partners across lines of business, corporate functions, internal communications, analytics, legal, and creative teams to deliver coordinated, compliant, and insight-driven work. By applying performance data, listening insights, and editorial standards, this role helps Humana communicate with clarity, consistency, and impact for members, patients, caregivers, and communities.
Key Role Functions
Develop, edit, publish, and optimize enterprise social and owned channel content that supports Humana’s narrative, reputation priorities, campaign objectives, and audience needs
Manage editorial calendars, approvals, publishing workflows, and delivery timelines across tools and platforms, such as Workfront, Aprimo, and Sprinklr
Partner with lines of business, creative team members, analytics, legal, and other stakeholders to execute impactful organic and paid social campaigns
Use performance insights, platform trends, and reporting dashboards to refine content strategies, improve engagement, and inform recommendations for leaders and partners

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content strategy, corporate communications, digital marketing, journalism, or related communications roles
3+ years of experience developing, editing, publishing, or managing content for enterprise social media or owned digital channels
Experience with Sprinklr, Aprimo, or similar content, workflow, publishing, and analytics platforms
Experience managing cross-functional content workflows, approvals, editorial calendars, and stakeholder reviews in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Demonstrated experience using content performance data, social listening, analytics dashboards, or reporting tools to improve channel or campaign outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, government, or another regulated industry
Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, campaign reports, or social performance recommendations for senior stakeholders
Strong editorial judgment with experience translating complex business priorities into clear, compelling storytelling for multiple audiences and platforms
