🏥 About Marble Health

Marble is building the operating system for youth mental health, connecting schools, therapists, families, and payers to deliver effective care to kids who need it most. We’re growing 40% MoM, just raised our Series A ($15.5M led by Inspired Capital), and are expanding rapidly beyond New York.

Our platform integrates scheduling, communication, documentation, billing, and more – all to reduce friction for providers and improve care for kids. We're on a mission to empower a healthier, happier generation, and we're just getting started.

⭐ Role Overview

We’re looking for a senior frontend leaning engineer to help scale Marble’s care delivery platform for youth mental health. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines deep technical frontend experience with a strong product mindset and a passion for building intuitive, elegant experiences for users who need them most.

You’ll be a technical leader focused on frontend platform architecture, user-centric product development, and engineering quality. You’ll own key product experiences across schools, families, and therapists — helping shape how we serve the central stakeholders in youth mental health.

💻 What You’ll Do

Build beautiful, accessible, and performant full stack products

  • You’ll be a core contributor to all of Marble’s product surfaces:
    • Tools for school counselors who are underserved and overburdened
    • Interfaces for students and families navigating care
    • Workflows for therapists providing that care

Lead frontend platform and architecture decisions

  • You’ll help evolve our frontend infrastructure, including optimizing bundling and performance, shaping our design system, improving developer experience, and improving our use of React, Next.js, etc.

Up-level engineering standards and provide mentorship

  • Be a senior voice on the team. Mentor engineers, set the standard for clean, maintainable code and champion best practices. Mentor teammates and help grow a strong, thoughtful engineering culture.

Be a product partner and user advocate

  • Work closely with our growth and ops teams to deeply understand user needs and translate them into great experiences. Develop a strong sense of empathy for our diverse stakeholders.

✅ Qualifications

Requirements

  • 6+ years of frontend engineering experience
  • Deep expertise with React and strong experience with the Node.js ecosystem
  • Experience with frontend infrastructure, DevX & tooling (e.g. bundling, app performance, monitoring, etc.)
  • NYC-based and able to work from our SoHo office 2+ days/week

Bonus

  • Prior startup or early-stage experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience in the healthtech space
  • Strong full stack experience
  • Experience with Next.js
  • An eye for design and experience working closely with design systems

🎯 Marble Traits

🏃 Relentless Drive

  • You’re the hardest worker in the room who takes full responsibility for outcomes and tackles any task, no matter how small.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Introspective Team Player

  • You invest in relationships and team morale while actively seeking feedback and self-evaluating to continuously improve.

🧭 Operationally Excellent

  • You communicate clearly, think logically, and execute efficiently & effectively.

🧩 Role Traits

🕵️ Detective – Problem Solving

  • You get to the root of problems. You follow the trail, ask sharp questions, use every resource available, and don’t stop until you're confident it’s truly solved.

♟️ Chess Master – Analytical Thinking

  • You focus on high-impact initiatives and say "no" to distractions. This includes balancing short-term wins with long-term vision, making tough trade-off decisions with limited resources, and maintaining focus on what truly matters.

🦎 Chameleon – Adaptability

  • You move seamlessly between priorities, technologies, and parts of the stack — from low-level implementation to high-level strategy.

🧑‍🏫 Teacher – Collaboration & Mentorship

  • You bring others with you. You share context, give thoughtful feedback, and raise the bar for the whole team.
