Senior Software Engineer I (Fullstack)

We require people to be on-site, 4 days/week at our Denver office and are unable to offer relocation support.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer 1 (Full Stack) to join our Demand Side Platform (DSP) team. DSP is a technology platform that enables advertisers and agencies to programmatically purchase and manage digital advertising inventory across multiple ad exchanges and supply sources.

Our DSP team operates at a massive scale, processing over 1.5 billion ad requests daily. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of building intelligent systems that make split-second decisions on ad delivery—determining the optimal ad to serve to each user, at precisely the right moment, at the right price point, and in the most effective format. Your work will directly power the real-time decisioning engine that connects premium advertisers with their target audiences across connected TV and digital platforms.

You will work on both frontend and backend development, building and maintaining the web applications and services that power our advertising platform. You will be responsible for developing user interfaces, APIs, and backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to all stages of the development lifecycle. ● Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable web applications across both frontend and backend. This includes developing UI features, APIs, and database integrations.

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices across the full technology stack.

● Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces while simultaneously building robust backend services and APIs.

● Design and implement backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures to support application functionality and business logic.

● Manage databases and ensure data integrity through effective backend development. Optimize database queries and design efficient data models.

● Work on micro services which are integrated with the UI application, ensuring seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

● Identify and address performance bottlenecks. Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across both client and server-side components.

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across both frontend and backend systems.

● Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

● Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● 3+ years of experience in full stack software development, with demonstrated ability to work effectively on both frontend and backend technologies.

● Proficiency in ReactJS/AngularJS/VueJS/TypeScript and NodeJS programming languages.

● Expertise in working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). Experience with database design and optimization.

● Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.

● Demonstrated ability to stay current with AI tools and emerging technologies, with a quick learning aptitude for adopting new tools and frameworks.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

● Familiarity with Go (Golang) programming language.

● Experience in utilizing Apache Kafka as a message queue.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

● Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Compensation & Benefits

• Tier 1* (San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Tri-State Area, Los Angeles Metro Area, and Seattle Metro Area)$154,000 - $220,000/year

• Tier 2* (all other U.S. Locations outside of Tier 1)$135,000 – $192,500/yr

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
