Job Description

  • Revenue Growth & Sales: Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities while retaining and expanding existing client contracts.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a strategic partner to clients, mapping Nielsen product solutions to their specific business goals and ROI needs.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of Nielsen Audience Measurement products and the broader media/ad tech ecosystem.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with account management, customer success, and product teams to ensure smooth client onboarding, campaign activation, and product usage.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide insights that showcase the value of Nielsen data, including managing campaign tracking schedules and key metrics.

COMMERCIAL GOALS:

  • Strategic Market Capture: Develop and execute a high-velocity sales strategy for Nielsen One Ads and Outcome that aligns with business objectives and aggressively captures market share.
  • Revenue & Quota Attainment: Drive consistent over-performance against revenue targets, focusing on aggressive new logo acquisition and scaled, high-volume adoption of the N1 Solutions across the client base.
  • Cross-Sell and Upsell: Partner with the Account Management and Consumption Sales teams to drive deep integration of N1Ads & Outcomes into client workflows, focusing on increasing usage volume and scaling the product as the primary currency for modern advertising.
  • Strategic Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders through both virtual and in-person meetings. Represent the company at industry and client events as needed.
  • Account and Territory Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for your assigned territory and client roster. Work closely with the Account Management team and other leads to identify top product opportunities.

SALES-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revenue Generation & Pipeline Management: Maintain ultimate accountability for the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and the conversion of high-value prospects into long-term partners.
  • Deal Architecture & SME Support: Serves as the primary SME to deliver product overviews, demonstrations, methodology deep dives, bridging the gap between Product and Account Management to deliver winning pricing strategies and compelling value propositions.
  • Full-Funnel Solution Selling: Evangelize the integration of Brand and Sales Lift products into a holistic "Full-Funnel" offering, moving clients from siloed measurement to comprehensive outcome-based solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize sales tracking KPIs and improving lead-to-close processes. 

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience, Agency or Media experience preferred; Must have previous experience working in cross-platform, digital advertising or adtech/programmatic
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Competencies: Proven business development and negotiation skills, ability to manage high-level client relationships, analytical skills to handle complex data
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
