SHADOW is seeking a Senior Strategist, who will develop integrated marketing strategies on behalf of agency clients. This position will report directly to the Strategy Director and Executive Creative Director, as well as oversee a Creative Strategist. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized and curious, with 6+ years of work experience in developing 360° marketing programs across social, influencer, PR, events and content, either in-house for a brand or in an agency setting. This position requires the submission of a portfolio.

  • Preferred: interest or experience with music, festivals and concert partnerships

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Development 

  • Integrated Campaign  & Social Strategy: Craft compelling strategic narratives and lead integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels to address client challenges and needs. 
  • Comms Planning: Build multi-channel marketing calendars and communications plans that align creative, influencer, earned, and experiential workstreams.
  • Inspire, direct, and brief integrated teams:  Unlock unique insights, design frameworks and deliver clear and actionable briefs
  • Social Campaign Ideation & Execution: Lead concepting and execution of social campaigns in partnership with creative, production, and talent teams, and support the evergreen and creator teams with ideation as needed.

Research + reporting 

  • Research & Cultural Insight: Drive the gathering of research, insights, and trends using qualitative and quantitative methods across consumer intelligence tools, social listening and competitive/content audits.
  • Creative testing: Lead internal and external creative testing to measure effectiveness, impact and risk.   
  • Campaign Reporting & Analysis: Lead integrated campaign reports that synthesize performance into clear takeaways and next steps.

Strategic partner

  • Strategic Counsel & Client Partnership: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients and account teams - leading presentations, joining client meetings two to three times a week, and contributing to weekly status calls to guide day-to-day activity and campaign planning. 
  • Brainstorm & Workshops: Assist in the development of, as well as lead, integrated brainstorms and workshops for the agency, clients and partners 
  • Internal & External Coordination: Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external IATs to keep integrated account work aligned and moving.

Annual Compensation

$90K - $120K (commensurate with experience)
