About us:

How did Web Summit become, in the words of Forbes, “the best tech conference on the planet”? Meaningful connections. Our tech events are unmissable because we make it easier for the right people to meet and connect. Everyone at Web Summit works towards this goal.

And we’re just getting started.

We’re always looking to build on the impact we have already made at Web Summit. In the coming years we’ll take Web Summit to new markets, promoting global connectivity, highlighting important issues and connecting global leaders – all while making a positive impact on the environment and communities we encounter.

To build a better company, we have to better ourselves. We do that by finding the most ambitious people to work with us.

The Team:

Web Summit brings together the world's most influential voices in tech and business. Our Speakers team has a simple goal: to host the world’s best speakers on our stages.

We're looking for a fiercely driven, high-achieving, results-focussed producer to win the world's most sought-after talent for our flagship events.

You'll own your own pipeline of A-list targets and close them yourself. You'll also be the operational backbone of our wider talent effort, so nobody across misses an opportunity with a name that matters.

What you'll do

Talent Acquisition: Own and manage a pipeline of high-profile, A-list talent from first outreach through to confirmation, including negotiating terms and securing participation.

Relationship Building: Identify and develop relationships with A-list speakers directly, and also with key gatekeepers, talent representatives and decision-makers. You’ll meet them wherever in the world they are - and in particular using Web Summit's global network and events to secure access.

Pipeline Management: Oversee the team's A-list talent pipeline, driving accountability, monitoring progress and reporting on performance, conversion rates and forecasts.

Strategic Research: Identify and prioritise high-value talent opportunities through market intelligence, industry trends and alignment with event objectives.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Web Summit leadership, internal teams and external partners to align talent acquisition priorities and maximise opportunities.

Talent Delivery: Work cross-functionally to ensure a seamless experience for confirmed high-profile talent, from logistics and preparation through to on-site delivery.

What success looks like:

Confirmed A-listers per event against targets

Strong pipeline conversion, from mapped to contacted to confirmed. Fast first contact and consistent follow-up

Strong relationships with the top intermediaries in our sectors
Excellent management of data, evidencing both your strategic approach to acquisition and your determination to exhaust every possibility in securing your targets

Skills we like to see:

Relentlessly determined, with a track record of achievement and a drive to succeed, whatever the challenges
A stellar network, with a track record of closing high-profile deals (talent acquisition experience is a significant plus, but a strong track record in business development, relationship management or other relevant skills would also be valuable)

Existing relationships with agents, managers or publicists, or a proven ability to build them quickly with the right senior people

Deep knowledge of the technology landscape: AI, semiconductors, venture capital, founders and operators, and who is rising

Exceptional discretion and sound judgement with sensitive, high-profile and politically charged figures

Highly organised, keeping multiple pipelines moving with clean data and strict follow-up

Persuasive, polished written and spoken communication, with the confidence to chase world-class talent

    Willing to travel internationally

Benefits and perks:
  • Subsidised healthcare, dental, employee assistance programme (EAP) and more.
  • Employer pension contribution up to 6% for Irish-based employees
  • A dedicated in-house L&D department, with access to workshops, online learning and resources to help you excel in your career development.
  • Company MacBook, generous annual leave and flexible working arrangements.
  • Our very own Tramway Team, which drives community and morale-boosting events for employees to participate in.
  • Annual company get-togethers, charity days, and monthly wellbeing talks.
  • Wellness subsidy issued to all employees of €1000 per year
At Web Summit, we embrace diversity and inclusion. We want talent from all walks of life to help us on our journey to digitise the conference sector. Hiring decisions are made purely on experience, skills and the needs of the business.
