We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Risk Committee Coordinator to join our Frameworks & Governance 1LoD Risk & Controls team. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Lead end-to-end agenda and meeting planning, partnering with leadership to prioritize topics, refine themes, and enhance management information to drive Committee deliberations.

  • Orchestrate presenter management and member engagement, including speaker coordination, confirmations, scheduling, and in-person/virtual logistics with EAs; respond to inquiries from members, presenters, and key partners.

  • Own Committee meeting administration: track attendance and quorum, capture decisions and outcomes, prepare minutes, produce final materials for regulators, and drive follow-ups to closure. 

  • Design and maintain meeting templates and materials; collect and compile content; facilitate senior leadership reviews; publish final assets and maintain the Committee homepage on SharePoint.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

  • 5-7 years of experience coordinating executive-level committees or boards, including agenda planning, minute-taking, and regulatory material production. 

  • The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong commitment to excellence and an eye for detail, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint and MS Office) and demonstrated ability to build templates, synthesize materials, track commitments, and drive actions to closure.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $104,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
