The Role: 

Forge is looking for a Senior Web Optimization Manager who will manage and optimize our website, forgeglobal.com. You’ll manage, improve, and build out Forge’s website into a trusted resource for private market participants – Institutional Investors, Employee Shareholders, Individual Investors, and Tech Companies. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Forge’s digital presence by leading strategic initiatives to identify gaps and opportunities as well as enhance website performance, user experience, and conversion rates by making data driven decision utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Drive the Website Performance Strategy by using data and technology to create personalized journeys to increase inbound pipeline and revenue. Perform analyses of market trends, user behavior, and industry best practices to inform site experience
  • Optimize Conversion Rates by implementing A/B tests to analyze user behavior, and continuously optimize the website and paid landing pages to improve conversion and achieve KPIs
  • Own Forge’s Website performance, monitoring, analysis and reporting utilizing web analytics tools to track website performance and user behavior, to identify areas of opportunity, generate reports and actionable insights
  • Bring a User-First Product Manager mindset while working cross-functionally with our design and development teams to ensure the website provides a seamless user experience by prioritizing ease of navigation, content relevance, and responsive design
  • User Flow design thinking: Influence, consolidate, and create signup flow experiences for our distinct audiences and products. Establish principles across organization and best practices as leads are handed off to various sales teams  
  • Contribute to SEO Strategy by playing a pivotal role in informing strategy and enhancements for the channel 

Required Qualifications:   

  • 5+ years of web experience at fast-growing companies, owning a website performance number 
  • 4+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, web optimization, or related field leveraging A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other testing methodologies 
  • Experience overhauling website from look and feel, navigation, to signup flow (revamping websites to growth) 
  • Cross-functional collaboration with technical team including developers, designers, and analytics to scope out requirements for new pages with appropriate tracking in place  
  • Ability to manage align senior stakeholders' expectations and align people and resources to deliver optimum results  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proficiency at writing and editing including headlines, descriptions, CTAs, etc. 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Experience in UX web design or product management 
  • Experience with the specific web analytics and testing tools we use: Google Analytics, Heap Analytics, Hotjar, and LaunchDarkly
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing channels   
  • Experience building websites for professional investors or B2B companies – VCs, Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms

For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA or New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $120,000-$150,000 + bonus & equity. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
