About the role

We’re looking for an analytical and growth-oriented SEO Content Writer - Commercial News to join Better Collective and help us transform keyword research into highly engaging, revenue-driving commercial news.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with our SEO and content teams and contribute to building products and experiences at the intersection of sports, media, betting, and technology. You will be working with our Commercial News vertical, one of our leading platforms within Better Collective’s House of Brands. This team focuses on sports betting insights, promo codes, and deals coverage, reaching a massive global audience of highly engaged sports fans and consumers.

What you’ll do
  • Research, pitch, and write high-quality Commercial News content, including Promo Codes, deals coverage, and "Catch-All" landing pages (e.g., brand-specific promos) using SEO knowledge and research.

  • Continuously monitor and optimize existing Commercial News content to maximize organic visibility, rankings, and user engagement.

  • Proactively monitor and track advanced SERP features, specifically ensuring our content wins and maintains placement in Answer in One (AiO) boxes and Google carousels.

  • Take direct accountability for key performance metrics, specifically driving NDCs (New Depositing/Digital Customers) and NNR (Net New Revenue) related to Commercial News.

  • Deliver commercial value while keeping a consistent, high-quality editorial voice that aligns with company standards.

What we’re looking for
  • Strong understanding of SEO writing, digital journalism, or affiliate/commercial content creation.

  • Proven experience using keyword research and SEO data to identify commercial intent and search trends.

  • Familiarity with tracking and optimizing for Google’s evolving SERP features (AiO, Carousels).

  • An analytical mindset, comfortable working towards performance goals like NDCs and revenue metrics.

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a native or bilingual proficiency in English.

  • Strong collaborative skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude toward taking initiative on new projects.
