Position Summary
MedReview is seeking a highly technical, hands-on SFTP Analyst to support and maintain enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructure. This is not a junior-level support role - we are looking for someone who can independently troubleshoot complex production issues, manage secure file transfer platforms, and confidently work across Windows, Linux, networking, authentication, and automation environments. 
The ideal candidate thrives in high-availability environments, understands the urgency of production support, and has strong experience supporting secure enterprise data transfers in regulated environments. 
This position is primarily on-site in our NYC office Monday - Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. However, we are open to considering exceptional remote candidates who closely align with the technical requirements and experience needed for the role. The salary range for this position starts at $145,000 - $155,000 based on experience and qualifications. Please note that participation in an on-call rotation is required, as this role supports critical production environments and high-priority operational incidents. 
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Own day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of enterprise SFTP/MFT platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues involving SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, authentication, networking, and file transfer failures 
  • Support Windows server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments 
  • Manage secure enterprise data transfers across cloud and on-prem infrastructure 
  • handle escalations and critical incidents while meeting SLA requirements 
  • Analyze logs, packet captures, and system diagnostics to identify root causes
  • Support Active Directory, LDAP, SSO/SAML, MFA, and Azure Entra ID integrations 
  • Implement and maintain encryption standards, security controls, and key management processes 
  • Automate monitoring and administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, SQL, and REST APIs
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and support after-hours incidents when needed
What We're Looking For 
Required Experience: 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise SFTP or Managed File Transfer environments 
  • Strong experience with: 
    • SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and enterprise MFT platforms ​​​​​​​
    • Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 
    • Active Directory, LDAP, SSO/SAML, MFA, Azure Entra ID
    • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and DMZ environments 
    • PowerShell, Python, SQL, REST APIs, and automation scripting 
    • AWS and/or Azure cloud environments 
    • Troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and Event Viewer 
Preferred Experience: 
  • Experience with Globalscape/ Fortra MFT platform 
  • Experience supporting highly available or failover clustered environments 
  • Healthcare, HITRUST, or HIPPA-regulated environment experience 
  • Certifications are a plus
