Situational Awareness Supervisor

Duties:

The Contractor's Situational Awareness Supervisor shall perform supervisory functions at the Situational Awareness Communications Center (SACC). This position is a vital resource to supporting the SACC Manager and will support the Port Authority's security, life-safety, and day-to-day operations at the World Trade Center. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

a. Support the SACC Manager to implement directives and protocols.

b. Respond to Manager calls, emails requests.

c. Support first responders as needed and directed.

d. Develop written reports and briefing documents.

e. Monitor access control software.

f. Monitor video management systems.

g. Monitor situational awareness software.

h. Provide tour and daily reports and briefing packages.

i. Oversee the SACC and SOC Operators in other WTC Security command centers.

j. Support Port Authority as directed.

Requirements and Qualifications

a. At least three years of experience in security operations, law enforcement or related field.

b. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

c. Familiarity with World Trade Center campus is required by commencement of services.

d. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

e. Ability to support First Responders as directed is required.

f. Ability to manage staff.

g. Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

h. Strong understanding of security and building management systems is required.

i. Strong understanding of CCTV video managements systems is required.

j. Strong understanding of access control systems is required.

k. Must have experience generating reports and briefings.

l. Experience desired related to security, law enforcement, or intelligence information gathering and interpretation.

m. Individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

n. Must have passed, at a threshold determined by the PA Manager, the National Dispatcher Selection Test (NDST).
