J.P Morgan is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to support and measure employee advocacy and engagement on LinkedIn for our Markets (Trading), Sales, Research & Securities Services leaders within the Commercial & Investment Bank LinkedIn Ambassador Program. As the digital cornerstone for global networking, career discussions, and business growth, LinkedIn is the primary platform for J.P. Morgan employee use.

As a Social Media Sr. Associate within Commercial and Investment Bank you will be a member of the Executive and Employee Social Media team within the broader Global Social Media team at J.P. Morgan, where you will promote and measure employee advocacy and engagement on LinkedIn. Our Ambassador Program enables our leaders to use LinkedIn compliantly and implement social-first strategies to meet business goals on the platform. You will reinforce best practice recommendations, create content and manage editorial calendars, and oversee the overall LinkedIn presence for several senior leaders in these key businesses.  You will have an opportunity to focus on key stakeholder groups to become a close partner with a deep understanding of the business’s goals and communication priorities, and deliver these through compelling social media strategies. 


Job responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, support, and guardrails for Ambassador senior leaders regarding social media practices 
  • Oversee and execute the onboarding and off boarding of Ambassador program participants
  • Understand and translate business goals and communication priorities into LinkedIn content tailored to each Ambassador
  • Create and maintain employee forward-facing editorial calendars for Ambassador programs, with coherent content pillars aligned to business goals 
  • Create and publish content on behalf of Ambassadors, ensuring high-quality visuals and graphics alongside strong copywriting
  • Analyze program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Align content to industry trends and platform updates 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Enthusiastic team player who is able to work closely with senior stakeholders across several departments including: Markets (Trading), Sales, Research & Securities Services, Compliance, Legal, Communications, Marketing, Risk, internal technology and third-party technology vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • Significant experience working in Social Media and/or in Executive Communications and in-depth knowledge of LinkedIn and its capabilities 
  • Possess a strong leadership presence, excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Sound judgment and high-quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across functional teams and directly with senior leaders
  • Strong knowledge and passion for keeping up to speed on the social media landscape 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, effectively communicating on project timeline, status and results 
  • Familiarity with social media publishing and analytics tools (Hearsay, Sprinklr, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Financial Services experience especially with background knowledge in Markets (Trading), Sales, Research & Securities Services 
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
