Location Details: 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Join Customer Insights Engineering, a team dedicated to building the next generation of artificial intelligence-powered products that help GoDaddy better understand and serve millions of customers worldwide.

As a Software Engineer, you'll work across the artificial intelligence stack, developing intelligent applications, application programming interfaces, and user experiences that transform customer data into actionable insights. You'll help build products powered by large language models and artificial intelligence that uncover growth opportunities, improve customer experiences, and influence key GoDaddy products, including Airo, Domains, Email, and SSL.

 

What you'll get to do...

  • Build and deploy artificial intelligence agents and intelligent applications that solve real customer and business challenges
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and application programming interfaces that power artificial intelligence-driven experiences
  • Develop full-stack solutions, contributing to both user-facing experiences and backend systems
  • Integrate large language models, artificial intelligence services, data platforms, and external application programming interfaces to create end-to-end solutions
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact features and products
  • Explore emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas that advance GoDaddy's artificial intelligence capabilities and customer experience

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful application programming interfaces and backend services
  • Hands-on experience building or supporting artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language model-based applications, including prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and artificial intelligence integrations
  • Experience building cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services, including services such as Simple Storage Service, Identity and Access Management, Apache Airflow, and other compute, storage, networking, and security services
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, version control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, production operations, and full-stack application development

  • Experience working with databases, data pipelines, and distributed systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Compensation: 

The estimated pay ranges for this role are listed below. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, which may include a corporate bonus and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of applicable plans and individual eligibility.

$128,000$192,000 USD
Austin, D.C. Metro, CA (non-Bay Area), HI, IL, MA, NH, OR, VA, WA:
$110,500$165,500 USD
New York City Metro, Kirkland/Seattle:
$117,200$175,800 USD
All other US locations not previously listed:
$98,500$147,500 USD
