Own technical solutioning and on-site execution of robotic deployments: scope environments with sales, design end-to-end deployment plans, lead installs and troubleshooting, train operators, document playbooks, and drive continuous improvements with partners and engineering.

Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.

We work directly with robotics hardware partners and commercial operators to place best-in-class robotic systems into real-world environments — hotels, retail, pharmacy, logistics, healthcare, and beyond.

Our work happens on the ground — in commercial environments where execution, technical judgment, and trust determine whether deployments succeed and scale.

Our Mission

Robotics will become the largest industry in human history — larger than anything that has come before it. As intelligent machines move into the physical world, they will dramatically expand global GDP, raise the material standard of living for everyone, and ultimately help make humanity a multiplanetary civilization. None of that happens without one thing: enormous amounts of high-quality, real-world data.

Mecka AI builds that foundation. We are the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI — the substrate that teaches machines to perceive, reason, and act in reality. Get this right, and we accelerate the most important technological transition of our time.

Our Culture
  • Excellence as the baseline. We hold an extremely high bar and expect the best work of your career. Mediocrity isn't interesting to us.

  • Highly technical. We reason from first principles, not by analogy. The best argument wins — regardless of title or tenure.

  • Truth-seeking. We are relentlessly honest with ourselves and each other. We chase reality — measured, not assumed — and kill our own bad ideas fast.

  • Maniacal urgency. The work matters and the clock is real. We move fast, ship, measure, and iterate.

  • Extreme ownership. You own outcomes end-to-end — no hand-offs, no excuses, no waiting for permission.

  • Hardcore. This is a high-intensity environment for people who want to do the defining work of their lives.

The Role

We're hiring a Solutions Architect, Deployments to own the technical solutioning and on-the-ground execution of robotic deployments in commercial environments.

This is a hands-on, field-facing role. You will be the person who understands both the hardware and the environment — translating commercial operator needs into deployment plans that actually work, then seeing them through to execution.

You'll work closely with our sales team, hardware partners, and operations to ensure every deployment is scoped correctly, stood up smoothly, and performs reliably in the real world.

Responsibilities

Deployment Solutioning

  • Partner with the sales team pre-close to assess commercial environments and define deployment requirements

  • Design end-to-end deployment solutions — hardware placement, networking, integration, workflow design — tailored to each operator's environment

  • Develop pilots and phased rollout plans that de-risk deployments and build operator confidence

  • Serve as the technical authority during the sales process for deployment-related questions

On-Site Deployment Execution

  • Lead on-site deployment of partner robotics hardware across commercial settings

  • Ensure robots are correctly configured, calibrated, and operational before handoff

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues in real time

  • Own deployment quality end-to-end — from first install to stable operation

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Act as the trusted technical point of contact for commercial operators post-sale

  • Translate operator feedback into actionable improvements for hardware partners and internal teams

  • Support operator staff with training, onboarding, and ongoing technical guidance

  • Build long-term relationships that support expansions and multi-site rollouts

Process & Playbook Development

  • Document deployment processes, configurations, and lessons learned from the field

  • Build repeatable deployment playbooks as we scale across new verticals and environments

  • Identify recurring challenges and work with engineering and partners to resolve them systematically

Who You Are

Required Experience

  • Hands-on experience deploying robots in real-world commercial or industrial environments

  • Prior role as a field engineer, solutions engineer, deployment engineer, or similar at a robotics or automation company

  • Strong understanding of robotics hardware — sensors, cameras, networking, compute, calibration

  • Experience working directly with end customers to scope and deliver technical solutions

  • Comfortable with Linux-based systems, networking, and on-site troubleshooting

Strong Signals

  • Deployed service robots, AMRs, or automation systems in hospitality, retail, logistics, healthcare, or similar environments

  • Experience bridging the gap between sales and engineering — translating customer needs into technical specs

  • Familiarity with systems integration, site surveys, and environment assessment

  • Built or contributed to deployment documentation or playbooks

You Are

  • Deeply hands-on and energized by field work

  • A clear technical communicator — equally comfortable with operators on the floor and engineers on a call

  • Calm under pressure and able to solve problems in real time

  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused — you don't leave a site until things are right

  • Able to travel to deployment sites as needed

Why This Role
  • Own the technical deployment motion for a fast-growing commercial robotics business

  • Work with cutting-edge hardware partners across high-impact commercial environments

  • High autonomy and direct influence on how Mecka scales deployments globally

  • Close collaboration with sales, engineering, and leadership

  • A chance to do the defining work of your career at a company building the future of physical AI
