About this opportunity:
The Data Analytics organization delivers innovative analytics, observability, and AI-powered solutions for telecom operators across the Americas. This is a highly specialized position at the intersection of telecom network analytics, monitoring and probing ecosystems, and AI-driven customer engagements. Based in Mississauga, Canada, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, leading the design and positioning of advanced analytics solutions that address network visibility, service assurance, and operational intelligence challenges.
What you will do:

• Act as a subject matter expert in telecom call flows and signaling, applying in-depth knowledge of 4G, 5G, and IMS network interactions to design analytics solutions
• Transform probe data and network telemetry into actionable analytics use cases, including service assurance, customer experience analytics, and network performance insights
• Design end-to-end data architectures spanning ingestion, parsing, enrichment, correlation, streaming/batch processing, and analytics layers
• Advance AI-enabled solutions and customer engagements by incorporating machine learning and advanced analytics to enhance network observability and automation
• Provide hands-on guidance to engineering and delivery teams to support the successful implementation and operationalization of analytics solutions
• Identify solution risks, define mitigation strategies, and continuously develop reusable analytics frameworks and architecture patterns

The skills you bring:

• Education: At least a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field
• Extensive hands-on experience with telecom monitoring ecosystems, including probes and network function integrations
• Strong working knowledge of end-to-end call flows across 4G, 5G, and IMS networks, including associated signaling protocols and data formats
• Demonstrated ability to translate network events and telemetry into meaningful analytics insights and operational use cases
• Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end analytics and data pipeline architectures for real-time and operational environments
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion and processing pipelines, streaming and batch processing architectures, and observability platforms
• Practical experience with AI/ML and Generative AI applications, including deploying and operationalizing models within telecom environments
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, including containers, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience with major public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Familiarity with big data and analytics technologies, including Hadoop, Databricks, Elasticsearch, and Vertica
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation
• Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code practices

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
• Ontario: $99,500-130,725 CAD
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, plus at least 3personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
