About the Role

As an early member of the Solutions team, you will be a trusted advisor to our prospects and customers who are working on their own efforts to revolutionize healthcare to fully leverage the Particle Health platform. As a technical voice for our prospects and customers, you’ll also liaise directly with our product and engineering teams to provide your unique perspective on how our clients are using the product and how our roadmap can evolve to meet the needs of the field.

A “day in the life” of a Solutions Consultant at Particle may include fielding a prospect’s technical questions about and running demos of our API, collaborating with our Sales and Customer Success team on prospect solutions design, spec-ing out product and feature designs with the Product team, or collaborating with our Customer Success team to ensure customers have a successful implementation and launch of the Particle platform in their workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Sales Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to present and sell Particle’s mission to unlock the power of medical records in an intelligent platform that focuses health back on the patient.
  • Lead technical delivery for initial and follow-on value cases with customers – coordinate delivery planning and deployment with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a successful experience with our solution.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team, including sales and customer success, to offer solutions and services to key decision-makers and C-level executives.
  • Lead technical prospect qualification with the sales team to ensure product fit and build lasting relationships with technical contacts in current and prospective customers.
  • Translate prospect and customer needs for internal Product and Engineering stakeholders.
    Co-lead solutions design efforts, in collaboration with the account team, product, and engineering, to deliver compelling solutions to prospects’ and clients’ use cases.
  • Drive the creation of new product and service platform offerings and support Solutions department initiatives and overall Company growth.
  • Improve to build scale and efficiency of the Particle revenue team in partnership with RevOps and Enablement functions.
  • Become a trusted advisor on key products, trends, and regulations that are driving healthcare data interoperability in the United States

What We Look For:

  • Experience driving consultative and solutions-focused discussions focused around customer use cases and desired workflows.
  • Strong presentation skills to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences via presentations, product demos, and ad-hoc Q&A sessions.
  • Hands-on experience walking prospective clients through API functionality, implementation architecture, use case design, security reviews, and RFP submissions.
  • Experience in driving net-new revenue growth via strong partnerships with revenue-driving teams (e.g. Sales, Customer Success, Marketing).
  • Exposure to collaborating with Product & Engineering teams to provide a “voice of the customer” perspective in roadmap planning.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end technical lifecycle of a client, ranging from pre-sale technology evaluation to full integration launch.
  • Experience partnering with internal data SMEs & data science teams to run custom analytics for prospects and customers that drives towards a value story.
  • Experience translating prospect and customer needs into POCs/Pilots that drive towards closing new and growth business.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience working in prospect- and customer-facing environments with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction
  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or pre-sales role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience and track record in a technical pre-sales environment; preference towards experience with B2B Data Platforms and/or B2B SaaS products.
  • Fluency in guiding prospects and customers through the use and implementation of API-first products; prior experience supporting customers through integration and ongoing solutions design is preferred.
  • Comfortable with navigating databases via SQL
  • Comfort with general-purpose coding languages, such as Python (proficiency not required)
  • A strong technical aptitude and curiosity to learn new things

Nice-to-Haves

  • Health tech experience preferred, but not required
  • Educational background, certification, or equivalent practical experience in a technical field, with emphasis on a strong analytical foundation.
  • Experience with health data formats like FHIR R4, HL7, and CDA
  • Experience in data analysis, data science, Google Data Studio, or BigQuery
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems

Particle has an office on 20th, close to Union Square, Gramercy, and everything in between. There's a solid group who come in regularly, but we are primarily a remote-first company.
