Our team is growing, and we're looking for a Pre-Sales Engineering leader.

As the LATAM Pre-Sales Engineering Director at monday.com, you'll play a critical role in helping our prospects visualize the value of our platform. Through your deep product knowledge, expertise in how companies use and deploy SaaS applications, and objection handling in customer interactions, you'll support our sales team throughout the sales process.

We're looking for an experienced leader who can establish the team's methodologies and streamline our pre-sales processes. You'll be a strategic member of our sales leadership team, working closely with Sales, Product, Partners, and Customer Success.

What You'll Do
  • Hire, develop, and retain exceptional Solutions Engineering talent across all levels in the region.

  • Scale and empower the local pre-sales team through active coaching, systematic delegation of high-value deals, and structured career development pathing

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales leaders (AEs/AMs) to accelerate outbound enterprise deals, and collaborate with Partnerships (CPMs) to enable, train, and build localized pre-sales playbooks for our regional channel partners

  • Act as an executive sponsor on the most strategic and complex customer opportunities.

  • Help shape and execute monday.com's LATAM growth strategy, adapting global playbooks to fit regional needs.

  • Lead and evolve our pre-sales methodologies, including discovery, value-based demos, proof-of-concept execution, and technical win strategies.

  • Champion monday.com's evolution as an AI Work Platform, guiding the team in architecting complex solutions utilizing AI agents, automated workflows, and custom application frameworks

  • Drive regional cadence for forecasting, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.

  • Serve as a key member of the global Solutions Engineering leadership team, contributing to cross-regional knowledge sharing and global scalability.

  • Navigate and align the pre-to-post-sales technical lifecycle, partnering closely with local Professional Services and implementation teams to ensure technical pre-sales validation smoothly translates to successful customer onboarding

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of Solutions Engineering leadership experience, with proven success managing technical pre-sales in a hybrid GTM environment (supporting both high-velocity direct sales and indirect channel partner networks)

  • Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish (written and spoken);

  • Proven track record of building, scaling, and mentoring successful pre-sales teams.

  • Experienced in complex sales cycles involving technical proof points, ROI/value modeling, and deep customer engagement.

  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional partners, with the ability to influence without authority.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, data modeling, security standards, and hands-on curiosity/fluency in AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows)

  • Comfortable engaging directly with C-level executives as a trusted advisor.

  • Highly structured and organized, with experience building operational cadences, metrics frameworks, and scalable enablement.

  • Passionate about customer success, team development, and monday.com's mission.

  • Demonstrates deep intellectual humility alongside a high-growth 'go-getter' mindset; thrives in dynamic, autonomous environments and is equally comfortable presenting to a CIO/CTO or rolling up their sleeves to build a custom demo from scratch
