About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

14
The Team: The Value Capture & Integration Office, within Strategic Commercial Initiatives, is responsible for driving a significant portion of Market Intelligence's (MI) commercial growth agenda. This team focuses on identifying, structuring, and driving initiatives that convert product, data, and platform integration into measurable commercial value. It operates by partnering with Sales, Account Management, Product, Technology, and the Enterprise Data Organization to translate integration opportunities into scalable, sellable solutions.

Responsibilities and Impact:
Lead the commercial growth agenda for Market Intelligence, identifying and monetizing opportunities where integration of products, data, and platforms creates value for the business. This includes influencing stakeholders internally and externally to support key initiatives across the organization.
Architect end-to-end solutions that translate integration and synergy opportunities into GTM-ready offerings, collaborating with Sales and Account Management to embed these into deal strategies. You will be responsible for the direction, quality, and delivery of a significant agenda, making decisions on resource deployment to achieve key outcomes.
Build the business case and value-tracking framework for strategic commercial initiatives, quantifying impact on deal velocity, deal size, win rate, and retention. This requires inviting diverse perspectives to shape solutions and upholding the quality standard of resources across the business line.
Drive the shift from siloed, feature-led selling to integrated, solution-led selling, emphasizing workflow integration, measurable outcomes, and repeatable delivery patterns. You will act as an expert for other colleagues in this specific area and lead others in how to live S&P Global purpose and values.
Partner with Sales and Account teams on strategic opportunities, renewals, expansions, and complex deals, building deal strategies that enable stakeholders to confidently buy and deploy. This involves supporting executive-level customer engagements to demonstrate the value of integrated MI capabilities and positioning S&P Global as a strategic partner.
Develop a deep understanding of customer business models, workflows, and decision drivers, translating them into solution designs that articulate value while balancing customer needs with commercial viability. You will proactively address objections and protect client trust from pre-sale through adoption, acting as a recognized subject matter expert both internally and externally.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Technology, and the Enterprise Data Organization to refine offerings based on integration insights and improve the ability to deliver scalable, differentiated solutions. You will also lead cross-functional initiatives that bridge field execution with the integration agenda, ensuring the solution approach is deployable, supportable, and aligned to platform strategy.
Standardize repeatable integration-led solution patterns across the Office to improve time-to-close, implementation consistency, and post-sale adoption while reducing implementation risk. This includes guiding prototypes and proofs of concept for priority integration pursuits and training the broader revenue team on commercial initiatives.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
