Who are we hiring?   

The Specialist Digital Content will be responsible for creating best-in-class social media content for MSG Entertainment’s Live, Marquee, and Rockettes businesses, with a focus on increasing revenue and growing customer base through impactful creative, well-produced, and well-timed storytelling. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, photo and video (specifically TikTok & Reels), and possess a deep understanding of how people digest and engage with social content, an eye for detail, and a passion for live events. This position will work cross-functionally both internally and externally to develop content for show coverage, upcoming events, company tentpoles, marketing partnerships, and more.  

 

What will you do? 

  • Developand implementsocial media strategy forshort-form video content on Reels and TikTok for allMSGE venues and platforms  
  • Film, edit, and produce a high volume of compelling video contentshowcasingevents, performances, behind-the-scenes moments, etc.  
  • Lead on-site shoots from social side –Working cross-functionally to developsocial concepts andexecutefinal pieces for posting 
  • Cover 50+ events annually, capturing real-time content for social media and producing post-production videos 
  • Execute daily scheduling and posting of engaging video content across platforms. 
  • Analyze data and create content in line with trends and researchother’scontent toidentifybest ways to increase traffic and stay current.  
  • Work closely and proactively with marketing, communications, archives, photo/video, legal, and other relevant departments to obtain necessarysignoffson content  

 

What do you need to succeed?   

  • 3+ years of experience working in live music, entertainment, events or agency setting in a similar role 
  • Deep understanding of social platforms with the ability to best tailor the creative for most effective results  
  • Proficient in social photography and working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere 
  • Experience in live music, entertainment, events or agency space preferred 
  • Versatile interpersonal skills and professionalism to work across multiple environments and departments, including interaction with artists 
  • Strong organization, project and budget management skills 
  • Forward-thinking, creative and solutions-oriented 
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of managing multiple projects at once and delivering on time 
  • Ability to work autonomously yet also able to sync accordingly with full cross-department planning 

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:  

  • Must beavailablenights / weekends as needed for live coverage during gamesand events.

Pay Range
$65,000$95,000 USD
