ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inside Sales Specialist plays a key role in supporting Innocap’s go-to-market strategy through pre- and post-sales intelligence and deal preparation. Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development and Client Relationship Management, this role delivers in-depth insights on prospective clients, prepares pre- and post- meeting material, and ensures flawless execution of follow-up actions.
The Inside Sales Specialist has the following main responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients ahead of sales engagements
Help identify key decision-makers, and governance structures
Identify industry trends and support deal origination
Produce concise client intelligence briefs for sales and relationship teams
Prepare pre-meeting materials, briefing notes, and executive talking points
Prepare meeting materials and presentations
Anticipate risks, objections, and sensitivities ahead of client discussions
Prepare clear summaries of client meetings, schedule follow-up meetings and coordinate deliverables across internal teams.
Track and execute post-meeting action items, including amongst other things due diligence questions, capital efficiency analyses, expense ratio analysis, pricing proposals and requested documentation.
Proactively update on opportunities, flag risks/delays, and liaise with internal teams to ensure commitments are met.
Ensure accurate documentation in CRM/internal knowledge systems
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Desired seniority level: 4+ years of experience in an inside sales, investor relations, or similar role.
Proven experience supporting commercial teams in complex, relationship-driven sales environments
Hands-on experience supporting deal preparation processes.
Exposure to banking, asset management, hedge funds, capital markets.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
High attention to detail and strong professional rigor.
Structured, methodical, and deadline-driven mindset.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (required).
Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
