Primary Purpose: The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Senior Analyst provides operational leadership for Tapestry’s Global Security Operations Center and directly supervises a team of GSOC Analysts. The Senior Analyst supports global security operations through threat and protective intelligence, emergency communications, executive travel monitoring, CCTV, access control, incident management, Asset Protection analytics, and emergency preparedness. The position serves as a key escalation point for incidents affecting Tapestry employees, executives, stores, offices, facilities, and global business operations.

GSOC Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and provide day-to-day oversight of GSOC Analysts.
  • Coordinate shift responsibilities, priorities, incident follow-up, and continuity between shifts.
  • Train, coach, and develop GSOC personnel while ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Serve as an escalation point for significant security, safety, and emergency incidents.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance GSOC processes, technology, and reporting.

Threat & Protective Intelligence

  • Develop escalation protocols for domestic and global threats that may impact Tapestry employees, executives, travelers, stores, facilities, or operations.
  • Maintain a threat matrix, and monitor intelligence sources for crime, civil unrest, terrorism, severe weather, geopolitical events, and other emerging risks.
  • Support protective intelligence and executive travel through pre-travel and real-time monitoring.
  • Develop and distribute concise, actionable intelligence and security communications.
  • Escalate significant threats to Asset Protection and Security leadership.

Emergency Communications & Threat Monitoring

  • Utilize threat monitoring/emergency communication platform to support global emergency notifications, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Identify potentially impacted employees, stores, facilities, and travelers during critical events.
  • Coordinate targeted security and emergency communications with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Lead periodic emergency notification tests, exercises, and tabletop activities.
  • Document results and recommend improvements to notification and escalation procedures.

CCTV & Security Technology

  • Oversee CCTV monitoring at 10 Hudson Yards and remotely accessible Tapestry branded stores and facilities.
  • Support video review for investigations, theft, safety matters, and security incidents.
  • Coordinate CCTV system troubleshooting, repairs, service requests, and upgrades.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to maintain security-system functionality.

Access Control

  • Support administration and monitoring of Tapestry’s electronic access control and identification card systems.
  • Manage access permissions, activations, deactivations, troubleshooting, and audits.
  • Review access activity for anomalies and escalate potential security concerns.

Asset Protection Analytics

  • Monitor incident reporting, shrink data, and incoming Asset Protection intelligence.
  • Ensure information is accurately classified, documented, and appropriately escalated.
  • Support reporting and analytics used to identify theft, shrink, incident, and security trends.
  • Provide actionable information to assist investigations, risk mitigation, and security resource allocation.

Special Events & Incident Support

  • Ensure GSOC provides timely intelligence and operational support for executive, board, corporate, employee, and brand events.
  • Monitor and escalate potential demonstrations, crime, weather, transportation disruptions, and other event-related risks.
  • Activate and coordinate GSOC communications with security personnel and internal business partners.
  • Maintain incident documentation and support post-event reporting.

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Intelligence Studies or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • GSOC, corporate security, Asset Protection, intelligence, law enforcement, military, or emergency management experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
  • Experience with AlertMedia, ThinkLP, CCTV, access control, or comparable technologies preferred.
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed or global organization preferred.

Schedule & Operational Requirements

This position operates on a flexible, in-office work schedule with possible day, and evening shifts based on operational requirements. Flexibility may occasionally be required to support significant incidents, executive travel, special events, or other business requirements.
