quip is looking for a passionate, design-savvy Digital Brand Designer to support our in-house team reporting into the Creative Director. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled digital-first designer who can apply, maintain, and develop the visual identity for consumer brands and has examples of translating brand strategy into compelling and consistent multi-channel creatives across all digital touchpoints.
This role is responsible for executing high-quality creative assets across a range of digital channels while ensuring consistency with established brand standards and overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, balancing creative problem solving with attention to detail and timely execution.
This position will partner cross-functionally with teams including Marketing, Ecommerce, and Retail to support campaign launches, brand initiatives, and ongoing digital creative needs, while contributing to the continued evolution and maintenance of brand systems and visual standards.
This is a hybrid role based in our DUMBO, Brooklyn office two days per week.
Base Salary: $100k-$120kThis range represents anticipated base salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits and equity (as applicable). We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location, role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.
Responsibilities- Concept, design, iterate and produce high-impact and functional visual assets – ensuring brand cohesion across our digital ecosystem.
- Design a wide range of digital assets, including graphics for social, email marketing, website, blog images, ads, provider marketing.
- Support the Creative Director on launch campaigns and photoshoots.
- Uphold quip’s brand identity while pushing the brand forward.
- Support internal creative team and manage projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and cross-functional teams to translate complex features into compelling stories.
- Bring energy and momentum to creative discussions – being a champion for the brand and elevating ideas in real time.
- Manage and prioritize multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of design quality and accuracy.
- Prepare final production-ready assets across digital platforms, ensuring proper formatting, organization, and adherence to technical specifications.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and leadership while maintaining alignment with brand standards and creative objectives.
- Contribute to creative strategy by helping shape campaign concepts, visual direction, storytelling approaches, and channel-specific creative that drives brand and business goals
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in digital design, brand design, or visual design, with a focus on digital-first approach.
- 5+ years of design experience, bonus in-house experience for CPG or DTC brands.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Suites, figma as a review tool, and an understanding and strong interest in AI and how to leverage it in the creative ecosystems.
- An exceptional online portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of brand systems, visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
- Experience with motion graphics for dynamic digital content.
- Confidence in giving and receiving feedback, in addition to applying feedback effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects with a relentless attention to detail.
- A growth mindset with experience creating and optimizing assets for performance across various channels.
- Relentless curiosity about new tools, new formats, and new possibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, good collaborator, and ability to manage projects against an aligned timeline.
