Pinterest is looking for a Senior Manager, Ads Product Marketing - Ads Automation to lead a key area of our ads delivery and automation product marketing strategy. In this role, you will help shape how Pinterest brings automation solutions to market, enabling advertisers to better understand performance, value Pinterest media accurately, and improve business outcomes. You will work at the intersection of product, market, and customer needs, translating ads delivery and automation complexity into clear strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution.

As a senior leader on the Ads Product Marketing team, you will oversee a team responsible for advancing Pinterest’s automation capabilities across areas such as bidding, targeting, or creative. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing Science, and Business Development to influence roadmaps, guide launches, and drive adoption of solutions that help advertisers automate how to reach their performance goals on Pinterest.

What you’ll do
  • Lead product marketing strategy and execution for a core area of Pinterest’s automation portfolio
  • Manage and develop a team of PMMs responsible for complex, cross-functional automation and delivery initiatives
  • Use advertiser needs, market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to shape recommendations and influence partner roadmaps
  • Drive positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, and launch execution for automation and delivery products and capabilities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing Science, and Business Development to align on priorities, readiness, and success metrics
  • Help advertisers maximize performance through adoption of our suite of automated solutions
  • Define and track success metrics for launches and ongoing adoption, using data and feedback to refine strategy over time
  • Build the processes, forums, and cross-functional operating rhythms needed to keep high-priority initiatives moving effectively
  • Translate complex ads delivery and optimization concepts into clear narratives for internal stakeholders, sales teams, and advertisers
What we’re looking for
  • Significant experience in advertising, ad tech, product marketing, measurement, delivery, or a closely related field
  • Deep expertise in digital ads delivery and the broader automation and performance ecosystem, including areas such as bidding, optimization, delivery, automation, or related solutions
  • Experience leading go-to-market strategy for complex products or solutions with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience using customer insight, market analysis, and performance data to shape strategy and influence product direction
  • Strong people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across Product, Sales, and other partner teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
  • High judgment, strong prioritization skills, and comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Experience using AI and analytical tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and execution, with strong judgment around accuracy, quality, and ownership of final outputs
  • A passion for Pinterest
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

In office Statement:

  • We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of our office hubs based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle or New York.
