ABOUT RETOOL
Nearly every company in the world runs on custom software: Gartner estimates that up to 50% of all code is written for internal use. This is the operational software for refunding orders, underwriting loans, onboarding employees, analyzing transactions, and providing customer support. But most companies don’t have adequate resources to properly invest in these tools, leading to a lot of old and clunky internal software or, even worse, users still stuck in manual and spreadsheet flows.

At Retool, we’re on a mission to bring good software to everyone. We’re building a new type of development platform that combines the benefits of traditional software development with a drag-and-drop UI editor and AI, making it dramatically faster to build internal tools. We believe that the future of software development lies in abstracting away the tedious and repetitive tasks developers waste time on, while creating reusable components that act as a force multiplier for future developers and projects. The result is not just productivity, but good software by default. And that’s a mission worth striving for.

Today, our customers span from small startups building their first operational tools to Fortune 500 companies building mission-critical apps for thousands of users across their business. Interested in joining us? Let us know!
WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU:
We’re building a complex, enterprise-grade go-to-market motion. To support it, we need GTM systems that are scalable, reliable, and designed with long-term intent.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, GTM Systems & Operations who brings strong judgment, systems thinking, and experience operating at scale. This role is about making smart tradeoffs, building durable foundations, and enabling the business to move faster without creating downstream risk.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll sit within Revenue Operations and report to the SVP, International Sales. You’ll partner closely with the CRO, Sales and Customer Success leadership, Marketing Ops, Finance, and internal Product/Engineering teams supporting GTM tooling.

You’ll manage and develop a team of 3–4 GTM Systems & Operations professionals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Own and evolve the GTM systems landscape, designing for scale rather than today’s org chart
  • Make clear sequencing and tradeoff decisions around automation, tooling, and process
  • Translate executive priorities into concrete system requirements, timelines, and delivery plans
  • Act as the systems partner to Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Customer Success leaders
  • Lead annual planning execution from a systems perspective (territories, quotas, forecasting workflows, readiness)
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team with the right mix of analytical, administrative, and technical skills
  • Establish strong governance across data, reporting, access, and integrations
  • Lead system rollouts, migrations, and changes with disciplined change management and communication
  • Anticipate risk and address issues early, including production incidents and data integrity concerns

THE SKILLSET YOU’LL BRING:
  • 7+ years of experience in GTM Systems, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations
  • Prior people management experience leading teams through growth and change
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce and modern GTM tooling (e.g., Outreach, LeanData, HubSpot, CommonRoom)
  • Advanced SQL & Analytics; SLA ownership; Versioning metrics without breaking historical reporting
  • Strong systems-level thinker with sound judgment around prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales and post-sale motions with complex data and account structures
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and forecasting instincts, including metric design and scenario planning
  • Calm, credible operator who communicates clearly and executes consistently
