We are actively seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for network design/support/solutions, including cloud security/core network management/SD-WAN (Software-Defined WAN) services
- Design/optimize/maintain complex MPLS/IP networks by analyzing/meeting client requirements
- Configure/troubleshoot network devices such as routers/switches/firewalls/SD-WAN systems to enhance network efficiency & latency
- Enhance/support/maintain mission-critical Cisco/Arista & Adtran based routers/switches/IADs
- Provide cloud security solutions through centralized management, utilizing latest security devices/protocols
- Integrate/maintain VeloCloud SD-WAN, oversee VeloCloud environment & manage network solutions for migration projects
- Collaborate with cloud service providers to deploy/manage SD-WAN solutions on cloud platforms
- Configure/deploy/maintain POTS/PRI/SIP services & IP phones from Cisco/Polycom/Panasonic to deliver comprehensive voice solutions
- Create/modify/manage network maps for clients using Intermapper network monitoring tool & develop custom SNMP probes to enhance network monitoring capabilities
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MS in Telecom Systems & Networks, Telecommunication Engineering or a related field
- Strong ability to design/support large-scale LAN/WAN infrastructure, implement cloud security solutions & configure multi-vendor network devices
- In-depth knowledge of telecom products/technologies, IP telephony networks, QoS, CoS, IPS/IDS
- Proficient in WAN/routing/switching protocols (OSPF/BGP/EIGRP/MPLS), IPSEC VPN/SSL VPN/NetFlow/SNMP network software tools & Linux OS
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate required
The salary range reflected is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay for this position is $128,500 to $145,000 annually. Pay varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and abilities of the successful candidate.
