About this opportunity:
The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for AI-driven solutions within our cloud management platform (NetCloud), with a focus on Private 5G and enterprise wireless use cases. This role is part of a team responsible for introducing and accelerating new technology adoption and delivering high-value capabilities that solve operational challenges for customers.
Location: [Preference for Boise, ID, Plano, TX or Santa Clara, CA] This role is not remote.

What you will do
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define the strategic roadmap and product vision for leveraging AI/ML to enhance the management, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization of private 5G networks and other enterprise wireless/networking infrastructure within the cloud platform.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Deeply understand the challenges faced by network operators, IT teams, and developers managing private 5G and enterprise edge infrastructure. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for differentiation through AI.
  • Feature Definition & Execution: Translate market needs and technical possibilities into detailed product requirements and acceptance criteria. Prioritize the backlog to maximize customer value and business impact.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Solutions Engineering to develop compelling messaging, sales enablement materials, and GTM plans for new AI-powered features.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the product owner, working with Engineering, Data Science, UX/UI, Architecture, Compliance/Legal, and other teams to guide the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Technical Translator: Act as the bridge between cutting-edge AI research/engineering and customer-facing product value, ensuring AI models and data pipelines are integrated into the product in a meaningful, scalable, cost-effective, and secure way.
  • Business Performance: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to AI feature adoption, customer value, and overall product success.

The skills you bring
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in a Product Management role defining and launching enterprise software or cloud services.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate strategic vision cross-functionally, clarify technical nuance and implementation requirements with R&D, and translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience (executives, sales, customers). This is the single most important skill for this job. Please acknowledge this emphasis. Very strong communication skills are essential.
  • Deep Expertise in Enterprise Networking/Wireless: Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including experience with mobile wireless network infrastructure, RAN, Core, User Equipment (UE), routers, and switches. Specific experience with Private 5G or enterprise LTE is a significant plus.
  • Experience with AI/ML Products: Proven track record of defining and launching products or features that rely on machine learning, predictive analytics, or large-scale data processing (e.g., AIOps, predictive maintenance, resource optimization).
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Familiarity with major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or experience with large-scale cloud management or orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack, cloud-native infrastructure).
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with data scientists and engineers regarding model performance, data requirements, and deployment architectures.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in an area of technical competence (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, etc). An Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
• LOCATION: Santa Clara : $152,400-190,500
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
