Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.About the Role:Dow Jones is looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Identity & Entitlements. Reporting to the VP Product, Commerce you will own the product strategy and roadmap for our identity products across our B2B and B2C portfolio including The Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Marketwatch, Factiva and others. Your product suite will include login, user registration, user profile and content access products. Your focus will be on creating frictionless, secure and user-friendly experiences that keep our users safe and satisfied.
You Will:Partner with our Identity engineering team to own the roadmap for authentication, account creation and content access across platforms (web, mobile app).
Create secure and user-friendly login experiences including consumer login, SSO and third party integrations.
Use A/B testing to optimize user experience.
Ensure entitlements are enforced consistently across all Dow Jones properties, including WSJ, Barron’s, and MarketWatch and our B2B product portfolio.
Monitor performance metrics such as login success rates and subscription access failures using insights to drive improvements.
Ensure identity and entitlement solutions align with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.
Partner with Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, and Design to deliver seamless user experiences and resolve access issues quickly and effectively.
Partner closely with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to manage and reconcile user profile data, ensuring accurate and consistent user profiles and entitlements across systems.
Partner with the security team to anticipate and address threats such as credential abuse, session compromise, and unauthorized account access.
7+ years of Product Management experience.
Experience developing products that manage identity and access.
Strong project management skills, with experience defining and implementing product requirements and balancing cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated success presenting compelling recommendations to senior business management.
A highly strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
Experience using and activating solutions with platforms, including BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker), Analytics platforms (such as Google and Adobe analytics)
Familiarity with identity protocols and frameworks, such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect & SAML
