Overview:
The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing is a pivotal team member driving strategic, analytical, and operational success across our ad tech offerings and Medscape AI. The Sr. Manager leads go-to-market strategy for these products, translates platform capabilities into clear, sellable solutions, and acts as the strategic bridge across Sales, Product, Production, Client Services, and Marketing Solutions to drive revenue, ROI, and operational efficiency. The role is also central to aligning Medscape and PulsePoint into a more unified enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Product Marketing & Go-To-Market

  • Own product marketing for Medscape AI, a high-revenue, strategically important product, including go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and lifecycle management.

  • Lead go-to-market for ad tech products and platform enhancements, including new launches, packaging, and positioning across audience, targeting, programmatic, and measurement capabilities.

  • Communicate the value proposition of new and enhanced products to all go-to-market teams, ensuring effective sales support materials, positioning packages, and presentation assets.

  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison with Product, Editorial, Ad Operations, and Implementation teams, project managing product innovations, enhancements, and custom offerings from concept through launch.

Medscape and PulsePoint Alignment

  • Help drive the integration of Medscape and PulsePoint into a more aligned, single enterprise by developing unified product narratives, packaging, and positioning so clients experience one coherent offering.

  • Align go-to-market processes, workflows, and reporting across both organizations, partnering with Sales, Production, Client Services, and Marketing Solutions to reduce duplicated effort and close gaps.

Data-Driven Optimization & Business Intelligence

  • Analyze product and media performance across Medscape AI and ad tech offerings to identify trends, evaluate sales needs, perform win/loss analyses, and drive data-informed product recommendations.

  • Design and execute strategic testing initiatives (e.g., audience, targeting, and creative testing) to optimize engagement, conversion performance, yield, and campaign ROI.

  • Oversee Business Intelligence and analytics alignment to ensure product reporting is accurately developed, maintained, and translated into actionable insights for Sales, clients, and leadership.

Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Establish and maintain repeatable, streamlined workflows across Ad Product, Inventory, Planning, and Implementation teams.

  • Evaluate product capacity and utilization, identifying new areas for campaign delivery and guiding operational teams on strategy execution.

  • Act as central liaison across Sales, Production, and Marketing Solutions to assess feasibility, scope custom client solutions, shape renewal strategies, and align capabilities with market demands.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of product marketing, digital strategy, or brand management experience within ad tech, digital media, publishing, or pharma marketing.

  • Working knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, including ad serving, programmatic platforms, DMP/DSP/SSP, audience targeting, and measurement frameworks, with the ability to explain technical capabilities in clear, client-ready terms.

  • Experience marketing or launching AI-enabled or data-driven products is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing new product rollouts, writing technical and business requirements, and leading cross-functional teams from alignment through post-launch analysis.

  • Proven ability to design, scale, and optimize cross-functional workflows, including across organizations undergoing integration.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and familiarity with platforms such as Tableau, DMP/DSP/SSPs, and Ad Servers.

  • Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini
