Sr Program Specialist

s a Senior Program Specialist at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be the primary point of contact and representative for complex programs to ensure their successful execution. You will be responsible for managing program activities, facilitating communication among stakeholders and customers, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

In this role, you will impact program efficiency and effectiveness by providing expert support in program planning, execution, and monitoring, helping to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement. You will interface with the ICS team to drive hardware deliveries and meet contractual commitments to support customer deadlines. 

Location: Clearwater, FL, Tempe AZ, or Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

Hybrid: 3 days onsite/2 days remote

Travel: 25-30%

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, customer satisfaction and adherence to timelines & budget.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Ownership of project budgets, forecasting revenue, tracking costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and supporting financial reporting.
• Execute risk, contract & change management, issue resolution, project controls, and performance monitoring.
• Drive efforts to resolve manufacturing and/or supply base issues that prevent delivery of hardware following contractual required delivery dates and to increase manufacturing capacity as needed. 
• Create and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
• Utilize project and program management tools for scheduling, reporting, forecasting, and status tracking.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across technical, operational, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve program outcomes.
• Be prepared to travel 25-30% of the time to meet with clients, stakeholders and project team sites as necessary.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project/program management or related roles.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

 WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
• Experience supporting EVMS and IPDS based projects for defense and space customers.
• Familiarity with project and program management tools, including MS Project, Accolade, LEAP, Salesforce, MAT, and AOP/ARR. 
• Experience working in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders and ability to lead by influencing.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and to manage tasks with minimum supervision. 
• Customer satisfaction mindset; focused on meeting contractual requirements and maintaining customer relationships.
