We are currently seeking a qualified and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is a detail - oriented and analytical professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounting responsibilities effectively. The position reports to the Accounting Manager (Americas), based at our Northbrook Headquarters, with flexibility to work from our Chicago office.

QUALIFICATIONS
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $61,000 to $80,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), Holidays (9 days), Personal days (3 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, recurring entries, and adjusting entries.
- Support and execute the month - end and year - end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and well - controlled financial results.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyses, ensuring reconciling items are properly documented, reviewed, tracked, and cleared in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and variances.
- Partner with cross - functional teams and international stakeholders to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation.
- Help maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Participate in accounting and finance initiatives, including process improvements and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- CPA Preferred
- Intercompany transaction experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- ERP User Experience: Oracle preferred
- Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams
- Strong GAAP knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
