Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This is a remote Texas based position requiring once per quarter meeting attendance at our corporate service center in Plano, Texas. Ideal candidate will live within driving distance of the DFW area. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and will work closely with the various accounting and finance teams of our partners and the Intuitive Health Joint Venture Operations team.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

· Compile and format large data files and reports received from partnerships

· Record various transactions in the accounting system

· Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records, including general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, roll forward schedules, and bank reconciliations

· Calculate various monthly and annual fees earned per partner contracts

· Prepare provider and clinical staffing analysis

· Perform monthly variance analysis for P&L accounts and make notes on variances over threshold amounts

· Assist with annual financial audit by gathering support and answering any questions from the auditors

· Other Ad hoc projects or reconciliations as needed

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

REQUIRED SKILLS

· 1+ years of experience in general ledger and month-end close; healthcare experience a plus

· Advanced/expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong computer skills (heavy experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, sumifs & similar functions)

· Detail oriented, strong analytical and reconciliation skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional character to interact with individuals at all functional levels

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

· Strong multi-tasking skills to manage time effectively and juggle priorities to meet deadlines

· Proactive, can-do attitude and a team player
