The role
As DV scaled over the past decade, our business processes grew organically. This role exists to bring more structure to how data moves, where system boundaries sit, and who owns which processes, so the business can keep scaling efficiently. Quote-to-cash and the surrounding revenue and billing workflows are the near-term priority.

You'll own enterprise architecture across the business domains, with Quote-to-Cash as your primary focus for the next two years: from the sales team identifying a prospect, through signing, customer activation, invoicing, and cash collection. That journey spans many teams. Your job is to define the systems of record, the interfaces between those teams, and the sequence in which things need to happen.

This is horizontal oversight, not domain ownership, the business domains own their processes. You bring the software architecture mindset across the top of them: automate, define APIs, design data structures, set the technical contracts.

What you'll do

  • Take fuzzy, organically-grown processes and cut clean lines of responsibility, ownership, and information flow across domains.
  • Define systems of record, API contracts and interfaces, data structures, pipelines, and environments, with enough rigour that engineering teams can build against them.
  • Work directly with business domain owners, many of them non-technical, to understand their problems and bring them solutions they're comfortable with. This is a large part of the job.
  • Present progress, decisions, and trade-offs to DV senior management, and manage the programme upward.
  • Drive solutions to done, not just design them. Prototype, validate, and stay close enough to the code to pressure-test what's being built.
  • Apply AI/LLM capabilities pragmatically to internal tooling, automation, and knowledge access, with attention to evaluation, security, reliability, and cost.

What you bring

  • 10+ years in enterprise architecture, principal architecture, or business systems transformation with cross-functional enterprise scope.
  • A track record of turning vision into shipped change, not documentation that sits on a shelf.
  • Strong systems-level thinking across business processes, data, application architecture, and integrations.
  • Genuine technical depth: comfortable reading and writing code, defining API contracts, and working hands-on with data structures, pipelines, and environments.
  • Experience spanning both large third-party enterprise platforms and proprietary internal systems, with sound judgment on where process logic, data ownership, and controls should live.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills — you can influence without authority, sit with a non-technical stakeholder and leave them feeling helped, and handle disagreement constructively.

The estimated salary range for this role, based on the qualifications set forth in the job description, is between $168,000-$286,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.

The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.

Not-so-fun fact: Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of job criteria, women and other marginalized groups tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you have what it takes but you’re not sure that you check every box, apply anyway!
