About Keycard

At Keycard, we're building identity and access infrastructure for the agent-native era, where software isn't static but a dynamic, constantly changing system of AI agents working on behalf of people and businesses. Keycard gives every agent a verified identity and issues short-lived, task-scoped credentials at runtime, so agents can only do what they were asked to do, and every action is fully auditable. We're backed by a16z, Boldstart, and Acrew, and our founding team built and scaled Snyk, Auth0, HashiCorp, and Heroku.

The Role

We're hiring a Staff Product Marketing Manager to help Keycard win enterprise security buyers. Large enterprises are moving agents into production, and the security architects, CISOs, and platform leaders responsible for them are trying to figure out what "good" looks like. You'll shape how Keycard shows up in those conversations: the story our sales team tells, the materials they use, and how each release strengthens our position.

This is a senior IC role for someone who has led product marketing before and wants to be hands-on again. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and our founders. One week you'll be on customer calls, and the next you'll be writing a battlecard, planning a launch, or presenting messaging to leadership. As the enterprise motion grows, you'll help decide what product marketing needs next.

What You'll Do

Set the strategy

  • Enterprise positioning: Sharpen how we position Keycard for security and platform buyers, working with Product and our founders. Keep it current as the market and competition change.

  • Market intelligence: Run win-loss analysis, track competitors across the agent security landscape, and turn what you learn into better positioning and product input.

  • Buyer insight: Get to know the people we sell to, what they're measured on, and how they buy. Share actionable learnings with Sales, Marketing, and Product.

Equip the team

  • Sales enablement: Build the materials reps use every day: discovery questions, pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, objection handling, and case studies. Train the team on them.

  • Product launches: Plan enterprise launches from strategy to announcement, including a launch-tiering framework and playbook. Work with DevRel and Engineering on launch content, and coordinate across Marketing, Product, and Sales.

  • Customer stories: Work with sales and post-sales to turn customer wins into case studies and references.

  • Analyst and executive support: Help prepare briefings for analysts and materials for executive conversations with enterprise prospects.

What We're Looking For
  • Enterprise PMM experience: Significant product marketing experience at a security, identity, or infrastructure company that sells top-down to enterprises.

  • Leadership experience, IC mindset: You've led a product marketing function and now want to do the work yourself.

  • Technical fluency: You learn complex technical products quickly and explain them credibly to both security and engineering audiences.

  • Enablement that gets used: You've built sales materials and training that reps relied on, and you can point to results like win rates or deal velocity.

  • Close partner to Sales: You spend time on calls, learn from the field, and adjust quickly.

  • Clear writer: You turn complicated ideas into simple, persuasive messaging.

  • AI-native habits: You use agents to speed up research, competitive analysis, and content.

Strong Candidates May Also Have
  • Background in identity (IAM, PAM, non-human identity) or zero-trust security.

  • Experience with analyst relations or category creation.

  • Experience building enablement and launch programs at an early-stage company.

  • Experience marketing developer tools or platforms, where developers often adopt the product before security or leadership buy it.

  • Experience with both top-down enterprise sales and bottom-up, product-led adoption, including turning developer usage into enterprise deals.

Your First 90 Days
  • Learn the product, customers, and competitive landscape, and sit in on sales calls.

  • Ship a refreshed enterprise pitch deck, competitive battlecards, and objection handling.

  • Create a launch playbook and run your first enterprise launch.

  • Publish your first customer case study.

Who Will Love This Job
  • You'd rather be on a customer call than write positioning docs alone.

  • You enjoy making a deeply technical product make sense to security buyers.

  • You want to define how a new category is sold to the enterprise, and help shape the team that scales it.

What We Offer
  • Build at the Frontier: Work every day at the frontier of agent-native systems — shipping, inventing, and iterating on technology that hasn’t been built before. You’ll be given huge autonomy, the opportunity to gain mastery, and the chance to work in a team that holds each other accountable to succeed.

  • Truly Agent-Native Culture: At Keycard, we don’t just enable others to adopt agents — we use them ourselves to build. You’ll help shape an organization that embeds AI into its foundation as an enduring competitive advantage.

  • Compensation With Upside: Market-competitive salaries and generous equity packages (4-year vest, 1-year cliff) give you the security to focus on building — and the asymmetric upside of ownership in a company chasing a category-defining mission.

  • Comprehensive Benefits & Recharge: Health, dental, vision, and paramedical coverage for you and your family, plus 4 weeks vacation, 11 statutory holidays, and 1 volunteer day annually. We encourage at least 2 weeks off each year to fully recharge.

  • Tools That Keep You Ahead: A new MacBook Pro, a $500 stipend for peripherals, and the best AI tools available so you can work at the forefront of agent-native workflows.

  • Remote-First Flexibility: We are a remote-first team prioritizing asynchronous collaboration, with hiring focused in North and South America. Work where you’re strongest — we just want the best.
