  • Serve as the senior escalation point for high-priority client issues, ensuring rapid, high-touch resolution.
  • Monitor usage and engagement trends across the portfolio to proactively identify churn risk and intervene with retention strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver data-driven business reviews and strategic recommendations to client and internal senior leadership.
  • Relay strategic client feedback to Product Development, influencing product roadmap and enhancements.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the CMBS, CRE, and structured finance markets to advise clients on market conditions and platform strategy.
  • Mentor and support Account Managers on relationship management, negotiation, and account planning best practices.
  • Represent Trepp at industry conferences and client events, strengthening brand visibility among CRE and CMBS decision-makers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing strategic accounts.
  • Facilitate quarterly or semiannual in-person meetings with key strategic accounts, tailored to client requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Structured Finance, specifically Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) or Commercial Real Estate (CRE), including a track record managing large, strategic accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Proven experience building and managing relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders (VP, MD, C-suite).
  • Advanced negotiation skills, with demonstrated success structuring and closing complex, multi-year enterprise agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive measurable expansion revenue.
  • Ability to translate complex CMBS/CRE data and analytics into actionable business insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Support to shape roadmap priorities and drive retention.
  • Strong executive presence with polished, professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed mindset with the ability to own strategy and execution with minimal oversight.
