Rohlik is one of Europe’s leading online grocery businesses, operating in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Romania through Rohlik.cz, Kifli.hu, Gurkerl.at, Knuspr.de and Sezamo.ro.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for a Strategic Advisor to the CEO who will help drive the CEO’s agenda, accelerate the company’s most important priorities and strengthen alignment across the Executive Leadership Team.

This is not a traditional advisory role focused only on analysis and recommendations. It is a highly visible, hands-on execution role for someone who can move confidently between strategic thinking, detailed problem-solving and driving initiatives through to completion.

You will work directly with the CEO, gain exposure to the most important topics across the business and help turn decisions into clear actions, ownership and measurable progress. You should enjoy being close to important decisions, but also be prepared to get into the detail, challenge senior stakeholders and take responsibility for making things happen.

Why this role is exciting
  • You will work directly with the CEO on the company’s most important strategic and operational priorities.

  • You will gain broad exposure across markets, functions and executive-level decision-making.

  • You will help shape company-wide initiatives and ensure they move from discussion into execution.

  • You will work on a wide variety of topics, from strategic analysis and organizational alignment to operational problem-solving and special projects.

  • You will have significant visibility across the company and direct access to senior leaders.

  • This is a rare opportunity to learn how a fast-growing, founder-led European business is managed and scaled from the centre.

What you will own and deliver

Your core responsibility will be to increase the CEO’s effectiveness and ensure that the company’s most important priorities move forward with clarity, pace and accountability.

You will:

  • Partner with the CEO to structure and drive strategic priorities

  • Translate decisions into clear actions, owners and timelines

  • Lead selected company-wide initiatives from analysis through implementation

  • Monitor progress, remove blockers and ensure consistent follow-through

  • Support the CEO and executive leaders in resolving complex strategic and operational issues

  • Prepare research, analysis and decision-making materials

  • Strengthen communication and alignment across the Executive Leadership Team

  • Support executive meetings and follow up on key decisions and commitments

  • Take ownership of urgent, sensitive or high-impact special projects

  • Represent the CEO in selected internal and external meetings when appropriate

Success in this role means that the CEO’s time is used effectively, key initiatives progress faster and leadership decisions are consistently translated into execution.

What we are looking for
  • At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, corporate development, transformation, product, business development or a comparable environment

  • A proven ability to lead complex projects from initial analysis through execution

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort working with incomplete information

  • Excellent project management, prioritization and organizational skills

  • Confidence working with senior executives and influencing stakeholders without formal authority

  • Clear communication and the ability to simplify complex topics

  • A proactive, independent and highly reliable approach, with the willingness to get into the detail and ensure consistent follow-through

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving and demanding environment

  • High levels of discretion, judgement and confidentiality

  • Fluent English

Experience from technology, retail, e-commerce or another fast-growing international business will be an advantage.

What we offer
  • Direct partnership with the CEO and exposure to the company’s most important priorities

  • A highly influential role at the centre of a complex, international business

  • The opportunity to lead initiatives with visible company-wide impact

  • Broad exposure across strategy, operations, technology, commercial and organizational topics

  • A fast-moving environment where ownership is expected and results are visible

  • A unique platform for future growth into broader strategic, operational or leadership roles
