Build and run outbound pipeline end-to-end: account research, list building, multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn), and coordinated account plays with AEs. Measure and optimize plays, write the outbound playbook in-platform, and be accountable for meetings booked, opportunities generated, and sourced revenue as you ramp.

About Edra

Edra is solving one of the hardest problems in enterprise AI: AI models are generic but company processes are specific. We build AI agents that learn how processes actually run, and then run their operations.

We're a Series A startup, backed by Sequoia and other leading VC firms, led by Co-Founders who created and led Forward Deployed AI Engineering at Palantir, and we're growing our team in New York and London. We're a deeply technical team of engineers, AI researchers, and strategists with a high bar for talent and a shared belief that exceptional people are the foundation of everything great we'll build.

The Role

Our product is proven and our AEs are closing. Now we're supercharging that pipeline: qualified enterprise buyers in first meetings every week, without fail. This requires full time execution to turn our pipeline generation motion into a machine.

As Edra’s first BDR, you will own the success of our outbound motion, and will work alongside our founding AEs to break into target customer accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, and coordinated account plays. You will build the outbound system the whole team eventually runs. On day one, you will be measured on meetings booked; once you've ramped, that will change to opportunities generated and sourced revenue.

You're joining early, but not starting at zero. We have closed enterprise customers, written reference stories that hold up on a cold call, built signal infrastructure across thousands of target accounts, and hired AEs who will work top accounts with you. What we don't have is the motion, which you will build and execute. As the first BDR hire, you'll be able to chart your own course. Perform exceptionally in this seat, and you'll have ample opportunity to grow within our GTM org as we continue to rapidly scale.

What You'll Do
  • Own outbound pipeline generation end to end: account research, list building, multi-channel outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn, and the follow-through that turns a reply into a booked, accepted meeting.

  • Run coordinated break-in plays with your AE partners on our top target accounts, working named accounts with mapped personas and sequenced touches across channels.

  • Work our signal-based account lists: prioritize outreach by intent and timing, and feed what you learn back into how we score accounts.

  • Test sales plays in new ICP segments: run the motion, measure what converts, kill what doesn't, and report back with data.

  • Write the outbound playbook as you go (and write it in the Edra platform): messaging, sequences, talk tracks, objection handling. The next BD hires run what you build.

  • Own your number: meetings booked and pipe-accepted meetings out of the gate, opportunities and sourced revenue as you ramp.

What We’re Looking For
  • You can point to your outbound numbers: meetings booked, pipeline sourced, quota attainment (sourced by you, not inherited from inbound)

  • You pick up the phone. Cold calling is a core motion here, and you're good at it.

  • You write outreach senior buyers actually answer: short, researched, specific to the account. Nothing that reads like a sequence.

  • You've prospected into enterprise: multi-stakeholder accounts, long cycles, personas who ignore almost everything that hits their inbox.

  • You operate without scaffolding. No SDR ops, no enablement, no playbook until you write one.

  • You're AI-native. AI runs through your research, list building, and personalization workflow, and you can tell the difference between hand-written and AI-generated messages.

  • You treat rejection as data, and don’t let it stand in the way of outcomes. Outbound is a volume and resilience business, and you've sustained it before.

Bonus Points
  • You've prospected into IT, CX, or service operations leaders, or know your way around the ServiceNow ecosystem.

  • You've run a modern outbound stack (Clay, Apollo, lemlist or similar) and built your own signals and triggers.

  • You've been the first or only BDR somewhere small and helped define how the role works. You've run creative plays that booked real meetings, and you can name which ones worked and why.

Don't check every box? We'd still love to hear from you. We're looking for exceptional people with unique skills and interests, and we know that great people have different backgrounds and skillsets.
