Position Overview:
CECP seeks part-time internship support for the Strategic Engagement team to help strengthen the operational and technology infrastructure behind CECP’s engagement model. This role will support the systems, data, workflows, and AI-enabled processes that help the team better understand member companies, identify engagement opportunities, track renewal readiness, and coordinate across teams. Working closely with the broader team, this role will help maintain and improve key engagement systems, including Salesforce and Monday.com and assist with practical pilots that use AI, automation, or structured data to make engagement more proactive, personalized, and coordinated. This is an opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of nonprofit operations, corporate engagement, CRM/data management, AI tools, and relationship strategy.
The Strategic Engagement team drives corporate member retention, engagement, and revenue generation through partnerships, sponsorships, and consulting projects. This position interfaces with all team members but will report to the Associate Director of Strategic Engagement.

Responsibilities:
The Strategic Engagement Operations + AI Enablement Intern will:
- Support the buildout and maintenance of CECP’s engagement operating model across platforms, with a focus on Salesforce and Monday.com
- Maintain and update Salesforce CRM records, including account, contact, engagement, and opportunity-related information to improve data accuracy, completeness, and usability
- Support the development and upkeep of Monday.com boards used to track company specific to-dos, follow-up reminders, engagement triggers, cross-pod workflows, and progress against project plans
- Help organize company intelligence by pulling together relevant information from Salesforce, meeting notes, engagement history, survey participation, events, Insights requests, MyCECP activity, public company news, and other available sources
- Support developing and piloting AI-powered tools, resources, and internal solutions that help the team streamline engagement operations, including workflows that connect Salesforce, Outlook, Monday.com, and other internal sources
- Help test, document, and improve internal processes for using AI tools, automation, dashboards, and structured prompts to support company snapshots, renewal preparation, engagement planning, and outreach
- Assist with reporting and analysis related to engagement trends, company activity, risk signals, outreach cadence, and value capture
- Provide general engagement operations support, including preparing materials for internal team discussions, updating trackers, documenting workflows, organizing resources, and supporting ad hoc Strategic Engagement projects
This role is for you if you have/are:
- Current graduate student (preferred fields: business administration, information systems, data science, or related
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience maintaining accurate data across multiple systems
- Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Monday.com or similar project management/workflow tools, including tracking tasks, owners, deadlines, status changes, and follow-up reminders
- Interest in practical uses of AI, automation, and workflow tools to improve team efficiency, relationship management, and decision-making
- Ability to translate messy or fragmented information into clear trackers, summaries, action plans, or process documentation
- Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, Google Suite, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple data projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently
- A high degree of initiative, motivation, and commitment to accuracy and excellence
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in advancing CECP's mission
Location:
- This position is fully remote, but you must be a US Citizen and currently living in the United States.
- This role will run from October 2026 through May 2027
- 20 hours per week
Compensation:
- $20.00/hour
