ABOUT THE ROLE: 

You will support Current’s growth through strategic finance, contributing to analytical insight, pricing, and impact-modeling of various product and marketing initiatives.  You’ll communicate your findings to senior leadership and partner with others to operationalize the hypotheses and takeaways. This role requires a strong interest in puzzle solving, ability to recognize patterns, and cross-functional partnership (Data, Marketing, Product, Business Development, and Engineering) to drive decision-making. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and scenario-test potential new products, pricing, marketing allocation, and changes to the business model.  
  • Build and maintain bottom-up forecasting models
  • Collaborate with data and product to translate a/b tests into forecasted profit and unit-economic impact. 
  • Help marketing, product, and partnerships teams answer difficult questions around how our resource-allocation and team initiative prioritization impact our business.
  • Identify new & iterative high-impact opportunities to further scale or improve unit economic efficiency. 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years in finance, banking, consulting, or other analytical role. 
  • Excel expert - experience with B.I. tools is a plus (Looker / Data Studio). 
  • Strong data analytical ability - experience with SQL & data warehousing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence decision-making 
  • Knowledge and curiosity about financial technology 
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment. Our product is growing exponentially and we need to be able to keep up with it
