The Voice AI Workforce for Healthcare

Healthcare runs on phone calls and loses $450B a year to the administration around them. Patients wait on hold, staff spend hours calling insurers, and revenue leaks at every handoff.

At Prosper, we're building the AI workforce that runs healthcare operations end to end. Our voice AI agents answer patient calls, schedule appointments directly in the EHR, verify insurance benefits, automate billing, and get payors on the phone when humans would otherwise wait on hold. We've grown revenue 5x in the last year, partnered with 100+ healthcare organizations covering more than 150,000 providers, and raised $35M, including a $30M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz.

The Role

We're hiring a Strategic Account Principal to own a segment of the largest provider organizations in the country: national MSOs, PE-backed platform groups, and multi-region specialty organizations.

Think of it as running a business rather than working a patch. You'll own the segment the way a GM would. You decide how it's defined, which organizations belong in it, what the thesis is for winning each one, and what Prosper has to build, say, and do to get there. Then you go make it happen: a named account list you built yourself, run from first touch to signature, with marketing, product, solutions, and the founders working against the plan you set.

Prosper is at an inflection point. Revenue is up 5x on a lean sales team. It's early enough that the strategy is yours to write, and consequential enough that writing it well changes the trajectory of the company.

If you've spent years building strategy for other people's businesses, this is the version where you own the thesis, run the execution, and see the number move. This is the best opportunity for someone who wants a path to be a founder or learn the entrepreneurial joruney

What You'll Do

Own a segment of the market

  • Build the strategy from a blank page: market map, account segmentation, prioritization logic, and a defensible point of view on where Prosper wins and why

  • Construct the named account list, a finite and deliberately chosen set of organizations, along with the entry hypothesis for each one

  • Set the commercial architecture for the segment: pricing posture, pilot design, and land-and-expand paths from a single site or specialty to the full organization

  • Bring the rest of GTM with you. Marketing, outbound, solutions, and product should be executing against your plan, not adjacent to it. You'll define the campaigns, content, and product priorities the segment needs and drive them cross-functionally

Run the outcome of the deals

  • Own long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals end to end: account planning, prospecting, discovery, pilot, negotiation, and close

  • Build durable relationships with the people who decide. The best strategic sellers are trusted before they're needed. You'll invest in multi-year relationships with CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and VPs of Revenue Cycle, arriving with a point of view on their business rather than a pitch

  • Multi-thread across revenue cycle, finance, IT, security, compliance, clinical operations, and procurement, and hold every thread yourself

  • Author the ROI case. Every strategic deal at Prosper is won on a quantified business case: cost-to-collect, denial rate, days in A/R, FTE hours redeployed, cash recovered. You'll build these models from the customer's own data and defend them in front of a CFO

  • Navigate the enterprise gauntlet of RFPs, security reviews, HIPAA and BAA diligence, legal negotiation, and phased multi-site rollouts without losing momentum

Build the playbook

  • Codify what works into an outreach strategy, business-case templates, and qualification criteria the next five hires on this team will run

  • Feed the top of the market back into roadmap, and turn roadmap into commercial advantage

What We're Looking For
  • MBB or top-tier strategy consulting experience (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) is strongly preferred. You've demonstrated you can take an unstructured market, break it into a defensible framework, and turn that into a prioritized plan to execute, and iterate on

  • Relationship-building as a core competency. You build trust with senior operators over years, and people who've worked with you once seek you out again. You can win a room of C-suite executives and excel at building trust and product knowledge

  • Entrepreneurial eagerness. You're eager to build, comfortable getting in the mud, and just as comfortable stepping back to decide what actually deserves your time. If you want to find the ceiling of what you're capable of, or build a billion dollar company of your own one day, this is where you learn how

Bonus Points
  • Healthcare or PE/provider-services practice experience in consulting

  • Experience selling AI, automation, or voice technology into regulated industries

  • Fluency with EHR and practice management ecosystems (Epic, athenahealth, ModMed, eClinicalWorks) and clearinghouse/RCM stacks

  • An existing network across provider group leadership or PE-backed provider platforms

  • Early-stage or hypergrowth startup background

Why Prosper
  • A trillion-dollar problem, real customers, and revenue growing 5x

  • A segment you own outright: the strategy, the accounts, and the number

  • Direct access to founders, product, and engineering. Deals get unblocked in hours

  • Competitive base, commission, and meaningful equity
