About Middesk

Middesk makes it easier for businesses to work together. Since 2018, we’ve been transforming business identity verification, replacing slow, manual processes with seamless access to complete, up-to-date data. Our platform helps companies across industries confidently verify business identities, onboard customers faster, and reduce risk at every stage of the customer lifecycle.

Middesk came out of Y Combinator, is backed by Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners, and was recently named to Forbes Fintech 50 List and cited as an industry leader in business verification by digital identity strategy firm, Liminal.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to own and grow some of the most critical partnerships at Middesk — including referral-based and reseller-style relationships with leading platforms like Alloy. These are not just partners — they’re embedded in our go-to-market strategy and product experience.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who wants to help build the blueprint for partnerships at Middesk. You’ll join a small, foundational team and take full ownership of key accounts, driving everything from strategic planning and co-selling to sales enablement and long-term growth. It’s a rare chance to shape how we work with partners from the ground up — and directly influence the success of the business.

We’re open to candidates with a variety of backgrounds — whether you come from partnerships, client services, account management, or consulting, we care most about your ability to build trust, drive results, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

This role is remote-friendly, with travel to partner locations as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a Strategic Account: Serve as the main point of contact for Alloy, managing and growing one of Middesk’s most strategic and established partnerships.

  • Drive Growth: Develop joint strategies that expand adoption and drive shared value. You’ll be responsible for satisfaction, retention, and commercial growth.

  • Build Playbooks: Help define how we manage strategic alliances at Middesk. You’ll set best practices, build internal processes, and develop KPIs to track success.

  • Connect the Dots Internally: Work cross-functionally with Go-To-Market, Product, and Operations teams to bring partner insights into our roadmap and drive alignment on priorities.

  • Expand the Portfolio: Identify and secure new high-impact partnerships. Negotiate deal terms and drive execution from kickoff through launch.

  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Deeply understand partner use cases and act as their advocate internally — influencing the product roadmap and long-term strategy.

  • Build the Blueprint: Help define what great looks like for partnerships at Middesk. Your work will directly shape our partner strategy, internal processes, and long-term growth playbook.

About You

  • 5+ years in partnerships, strategic account management, or consulting — ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or a similarly complex, regulated space.

  • Experience working with embedded or integrated technologies (experience in fintech, KYC/KYB, or identity verification is a bonus).

  • Strategic and structured thinker with strong commercial acumen — you know how to identify mutual value and close complex deals.

  • Comfortable working across functions and with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

  • Relationship-first mindset — you’ve built and grown strategic relationships before and know how to build influence and trust.

  • Strong communicator, confident in navigating ambiguity, and energized by building in an evolving environment.

  • You’re energized by building in a fast-moving environment and excited to be part of a foundational team defining how partnerships work at Middesk
