Job Summary
Responsible for providing strategic account management and sales leadership for an assigned portfolio of strategic publisher and media client accounts. Helps guide operational efforts to meet/exceed financial goals and objectives, overall customer relationship management, customer satisfaction, and long-term revenue growth. Develops and executes account strategies for each partner within the portfolio, manages day-to-day activities including maintaining existing revenue, driving account growth, and maximizing overall partner value. Develops client retention and growth plans while identifying profitable business opportunities across FreeWheel's supply-side platform and marketplace solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including CTV monetization strategies, publisher operations, inventory optimization, and marketplace dynamics. Success in this role requires consultative relationship management, creative problem-solving, urgency, and strong cross-functional collaboration to help partners achieve their business objectives while driving strategic growth for FreeWheel.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Responsible for achieving revenue targets for an assigned book of business.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic publisher and SSP partner accounts, with accountability for revenue growth and partner satisfaction.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with executive stakeholders and key business decision-makers.
  • Research and understand client business objectives, market position, and monetization goals.
  • Develop and execute account growth, retention, and optimization strategies that maximize partner value.
  • Design and implement monetization strategies across programmatic and direct-sold advertising channels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to partners by providing strategic recommendations based on inventory performance, marketplace dynamics, buyer demand trends, and industry developments.
  • Analyze partner performance data and identify opportunities to improve yield, fill rates, packaging strategies, pricing approaches, and revenue outcomes.
  • Clearly communicate the value of FreeWheel's platform capabilities, marketplace solutions, and supply path optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketplace Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams to develop solutions that address partner needs and business objectives.
  • Provide insight into customer challenges, opportunities, and market trends to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage cross-sell, upsell, repeat business, and strategic expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer issues involving commercial agreements, pricing, operational concerns, or platform solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop go-to-market initiatives and support strategic business objectives.
  • Represent FreeWheel in business reviews, strategic planning sessions, client meetings, industry events, and other relationship-building activities.
  • Review and report on customer retention, revenue performance, business opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Mentor and support junior team members and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.
  • Travel as necessary in support of business objectives.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $118,125.32 - $177,187.97
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $60,000.00
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
