Who we are:
Nitra's mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible.  Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.

We operate with urgency, intensity, and ambition. The bar is high because the opportunity is massive. We expect excellence, ownership, and intellectual rigor from every team member. We move fast, make bold decisions, and hold ourselves accountable to results. At the same time, we believe great companies are built on trust and respect. Every voice matters. Every contribution counts. When we win, we win together.

We are scaling rapidly and on a clear trajectory toward becoming a unicorn this year — and beyond. Our growth is not accidental; it’s the result of disciplined execution, relentless focus, and a team that refuses to settle. We are building a category-defining company, and we’re looking for people who want to do the most meaningful work of their careers.

If you want comfort, this isn’t the place.
If you want impact, ownership, and the chance to help build a generational fintech company, welcome.

Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Capsule, Plaid, Bloomberg, Meta, Facebook, and Mastercard. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.

Nitra maintains a hybrid work policy, with team members working from the office four days per week and Wednesdays designated as a work-from-home day.

We're looking for:

A Strategy & Analytics, Card Associate who will help shape the strategy, performance, and growth of Nitra’s card business. You will use data to answer critical business questions, optimize card performance, evaluate experiments, and drive data-backed decisions across product, marketing, and operations.

This role is ideal for someone from investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, consulting, or a highly analytical fintech environment who wants to apply strong quantitative skills to a fast-moving startup building a modern card product.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze card performance, customer behavior, transaction trends, and unit economics to identify opportunities to improve growth, engagement, and profitability
  • Develop and measure A/B tests across product changes, marketing campaigns, rewards programs, and promotional initiatives to quantify impact and optimize outcomes
  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks using tools such as Sigma, Retool, or similar BI tools to improve visibility into key business metrics
  • Define and track core card KPIs including activation, spend, retention, interchange revenue, rewards utilization, and customer lifetime value
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to translate business questions into structured analyses and measurable outcomes
  • Build financial models and business cases for new card features, rewards programs, merchant partnerships, and pricing or incentive strategies
  • Develop executive-ready presentations that synthesize complex analysis into clear insights and recommendations for leadership decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve card economics through data-driven insights, including spend optimization, rewards strategy, and merchant/gift card performance
  • Work with engineering and data teams to improve data infrastructure, reporting automation, and metric definitions across the card business
  • Support development and optimization of promotional calendars, rewards programs, and merchant partnerships based on performance data and experimentation results
  • Roll up your sleeves to execute deep-dive analyses, clean datasets, and support ad hoc strategic requests across the business

You have:

  • 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, fintech, or a highly analytical environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience solving complex, ambiguous business problems using data
  • Experience building financial models, business cases, forecasting models, or investment-style analyses
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, business KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks
  • Experience working with large datasets and BI tools such as Sigma, Retool, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to build detailed, structured quantitative models
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or Data teams to define metrics and evaluate experiments
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
  • High ownership mindset with comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
