Why Auctor

Auctor is building the AI layer for professional services and software implementation. Think of us as the brain behind the best solution engineers, forward-deployed engineers, and onboarding teams— automating the documentation, the discovery, and the decision-making that powers $400B+ in services work. We’re going after one of the biggest software categories of the decade.

The Role

We're looking for someone to help us solve problems for the business as we scale.

That sounds intentionally broad, because it is. Some weeks that means finding and closing exceptional candidates. Other weeks it means figuring out why a process broke, writing the playbook that fixes it, or helping us think through a strategic decision we've never faced before.

We're a startup. Every day brings new problems. We need someone who gets energized by that.

Responsibilities
  • Hiring — You'll run recruiting end-to-end: sourcing, pipeline management, candidate experience, and closing. We're building a world-class team and you'll be central to that.

  • Operations — As we grow, things break. You'll identify where and build the systems, processes, and structure to fix them before they slow us down.

  • Strategy — You'll work directly with the founding team on problems that don't have obvious answers yet. Competitive landscape, market positioning, go-to-market sequencing — you'll have a seat at the table.

  • Special projects — Whatever the business needs. If it matters and no one owns it, you might.

What We Value
  • Low ego — the outcome matters more than who gets credit

  • Bias for action — you'd rather ship something imperfect than wait for perfect

  • Comfort with ambiguity — you thrive in unstructured environments and open-ended problems

  • Intellectual curiosity — you're not satisfied with surface-level answers

  • Adaptability — you lead when needed, follow when needed, and always move the ball forward

What You'll Have
  • 2–10 years of experience in consulting, investing, ops, or a generalist role at a startup

  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can synthesize fast and write clearly

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and figure things out

Compensation Range

$110,000-$160,000

Benefits
  • Competitive equity package

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Flexible PTO
